104- وقالت ممثلة غواتيمالا إن حكومة بلدها ترى أن تعريف وتفسير لفظة " الأقاليم " يجب أن يكونا متفقين مع التعريف والتفسير اللذين أعطاهما لهذه اللفظة واضعو النص الأصلي.

The representative of Guatemala said that her Government was of the view that the word " territory " should not be confused with the definition of " territorial integrity " in international law and did not give any rights to political separation from the territory of a State.
وقالت ممثلة غواتيمالا إن حكومتها ترى أن لفظة " الأقاليم " يجب عدم الخلط بينها وبين تعريف " سلامة الأراضي " في القانون الدولي وهي لا تمنح أية حقوق للانفصال السياسي عن تراب دولة ما.

166. Although women's oppression had been given greater visibility in the legal sphere, the representative of Guatemala noted that lack of knowledge of legislation and the weak judicial system in the country were ongoing obstacles in this connection.
