44. In addition, the participants noted the interest expressed at the seminar by representatives of Non-Self-Governing Territories in such visiting and special missions.

1. The Chairperson said that, in line with the Committee's usual practice, representatives of Non-Self-Governing Territories and petitioners would be invited to address the Committee and would withdraw after making their statements.
1 - الرئيس: قال إنه تماشياً مع الممارسة المتبعة للجنة سوف يدعى ممثلو الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي ومقدمو الالتماسات للتحدث أمام اللجنة، وسوف ينسحبون بعد أن يُدلوا ببياناتهم.

3. The Chair said that, in accordance with the Committee's usual practice, representatives of Non-Self-Governing Territories would be invited to address the Committee and petitioners would be invited to take a place at the petitioners' table and all would withdraw after making their statements.
3 - الرئيس: قال إنه وفقاً لممارسة اللجنة المعتادة، سيدعي ممثلو الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي إلى مخاطبة اللجنة وسيدعي مقدمو الالتماسات إلى أخذ أماكنهم عند طاولة مقدمي الالتماسات، وسينسحب الجميع بعد الإدلاء ببياناتهم.

(n) In view of the valuable contribution of the representatives of the NonSelf-Governing Territories in the seminar, reiterated that the Special Committee, through the proper mechanism and with the assistance of the Secretariat, should continue to work towards full participation of the representatives of the Non-Self-Governing Territories in future seminars.
(ن) أكدوا من جديد، في ضوء المساهمات القيمة التي قدمها ممثلو الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي في الحلقة الدراسية، ضرورة أن تواصل اللجنة الخاصة، باستخدام الآلية المناسبة وبمساعدة الأمانة العامة، العمل على تحقيق المشاركة التامة لممثلي الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي في الحلقات الدراسية المقبلة.
