In this regard, we welcome the adoption by consensus, at the initiative of the CSTO States members and some other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) at the fifty-ninth session of the United Nations General Assembly in 2004, of the resolution declaring 8-9 May as a time of remembrance and reconciliation.
