٥٠ - طلبت الجمعية العامة من منسق العقد في قرارها ٥٠/١٥٧ إنشاء وحدة تعنى بالسكان اﻷصليين على وجه السرعة وتوفير الموظفين المؤهلين والموارد الكافية لها.

١٤ - ورحب الفريق العامل بتعليقات ومقترحات المشاركين فيما يتعلق بالعقد الدولي، وأكد من جديد استعداده لمساعدة منسق العقد في تنفيذ برنامج أنشطة العقد.

In its resolution 1996/39, the Commission on Human Rights welcomed the establishment by the Coordinator of the Decade of an advisory body to provide guidance with regard to the projects and programmes financed from the Voluntary Fund for the International Decade of the World's Indigenous People.
ورحبت لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان، في قرارها ٦٩٩١/٩٣، بقيام منسق العقد بإنشاء هيئة استشارية لتوفير إرشاد فيما يتعلق بالمشاريع والبرامج التي تمول من صندوق التبرعات للعقد الدولي للسكان اﻷصليين في العالم.
