The Treaty of Rarotonga for the South Pacific, the Treaty of Tlatelolco for Latin America, the Treaty of Bangkok for South-East Asia, the Treaty of Pelindaba for Africa and the Antarctic Treaty all contribute to transforming the greater part of the territory of the southern hemisphere into an area designated as nuclear-weapon free.
وتسهم معاهدة راروتونغا لمنطقة جنوب المحيط الهادئ، ومعاهدة تلاتيلولكو لأمريكا اللاتينية، ومعاهدة بانكوك لجنوب شرقي آسيا، ومعاهدة بليندابا لأفريقيا، ومعاهدة انتاركتيكا جميعها في تحويل الجزء الأكبر من منطقة نصف الكرة الجنوبي إلى منطقة محددة بوصفها خالية من الأسلحة النووية.

It has also allowed the General Assembly to call for the promotion of the shared objectives stipulated in those treaties, such as the exploration and implementation of means of cooperation, including the consolidation of the southern hemisphere and adjacent areas as a region free of nuclear weapons.
كما أنه قد سمــح للجمعية العامــة بالدعوة إلى تعزيــز اﻷهداف المشتركة المنصوص عليهــا في تلك المعاهدات، مثل استكشاف وتنفيذ سبل التعاون، بما في ذلك التوحيد بين منطقة نصف الكرة الجنوبي والمناطق المتاخمة باعتبارها منطقة واحدة خالية من اﻷسلحة النووية.

7. Congratulates the States parties and signatories to the treaties of Tlatelolco, Rarotonga, Bangkok and Pelindaba, as well as of Central Asia and Mongolia, for their efforts to pursue the common goals envisaged in those treaties and to promote the nuclear-weapon-free status of the southern hemisphere and adjacent areas, and calls upon them to explore and implement further ways and means of cooperation among themselves and their treaty agencies;
7 - تهنئ الدول الأطراف في معاهدات تلاتيلولكو وراروتونغا وبانكوك وبليندابا ووسط آسيا والدول الموقعة عليها ومنغوليا على ما تبذله من جهود لبلوغ الأهداف المشتركة المتوخاة في تلك المعاهدات ولدعم مركز منطقة نصف الكرة الجنوبي والمناطق المتاخمة بوصفها مناطق خالية من الأسلحة النووية، وتهيب بها بحث سبل ووسائل أخرى للتعاون فيما بينها وفيما بين وكالاتها المنشأة بموجب تلك المعاهدات والعمل بها؛

The denuclearized zone in Africa and that created in South-East Asia in December 1995 by the Bangkok Treaty join the denuclearized zones already created in Latin America and the Caribbean and in the South Pacific to consolidate a welcome evolution towards the total elimination of nuclear weapons from the whole of the southern hemisphere.
وينضم إنشاء المنطقة المجردة من اﻷسلحة النووية في أفريقيا إلى جانب المنطقة التي أنشأتها معاهدة بانكوك في جنوب شرقي آسيا في كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٥ إلى المنطقتين اﻷخريين المجردتين من اﻷسلحة النووية اللتين أقيمتا بالفعل في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي وفي جنوب المحيط الهادئ في توطيد تطور نرحب به صوب القضاء التام على اﻷسلحة النووية في منطقة نصف الكرة الجنوبي برمتها.
