This is part of a series of reviews of management and administration of participating organizations undertaken by the Unit.
ويشكل هذا الاستعراض جزءا من سلسلة استعراضات أجرتها الوحدة للإدارة والتنظيم في منظمات مشاركة.

As over a dozen JIU participating organizations had supported and welcomed its inclusion in the programme of work (POW), the JIU decided to reinstate the said topic in the current POW.

Briefing was provided in support of consideration of the Strategic Approach by the governing bodies of the seven participating organizations of the Inter-Organization Programme for the Sound Management of Chemicals (IOMC), all of which have formally recognized the Strategic Approach.

The governance and organizational review of the UNDG-ITF resulted in 34 recommendations involving 8 participating organizations. While there were no major issues of concern, the review nevertheless identified opportunities for improvements in the operational arrangements of UNDG-ITF.

Several POs suggested expanding the study beyond selection and appointment to a review of the functioning of the RC system, its financing and the efficiency of its overall operation.
