وقررت لجنة التنمية الاجتماعية أن تطبق منظورا يراعي نوع الجنس في جميع مداولاتها وأن تستعرض اﻵثار المتصلة بالجنسين والمترتبة عن السياسات التي تجري مناقشتها فيما يتعلق بمتابعة مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية الاجتماعية.

45. In one resolution the Commission stressed the need for the Special Rapporteur on the Elimination of All Forms of Intolerance and of Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief to apply a gender perspective in the work.
٤٥ - وأكدت اللجنة في أحد القرارات على ضرورة أن يطبق المقرر الخاص المعني بالقضاء على جميع أشكال التعصب والتمييز القائمين على أساس الدين أو المعتقد في عمله منظورا يراعي نوع الجنس.

and to request the Special Rapporteur to submit an interim report to the General Assembly at its fifty-second session and a report to the Commission at its fifty-fourth session, keeping a gender perspective in mind when seeking and analysing information, and also approved the Commission's request to the Secretary-General to continue to give all necessary assistance to the Special Rapporteur to enable him to discharge his mandate fully.
والخمسين، وأن يتبع منظورا يراعي نوع الجنس عند التماس المعلومات وتحليلها، ووافق أيضا على طلب اللجنة الى اﻷمين العام مواصلة تقديم كل ما يلزم من مساعدة الى المقرر الخاص لتمكينه من الاضطلاع بولايته على النحو الكامل.

The General Assembly may wish to invite the Council to continue to review the implementation of the Platform for Action and to review that of the outcome document, taking into account the reports of the Commission on the Status of Women, and make recommendations in that regard, and to require that all future reports submitted to the Council fully incorporate a gender perspective.
وقد تود الجمعية العامة أن تدعو المجلس إلى مواصلة استعراض تنفيذ منهاج العمل واستعراض تنفيذ الوثيقة الختامية، مع مراعاة تقارير لجنة وضع المرأة، وتقديم توصيات في هذا الصدد وأن يطلب إدراج جميع التقارير التي ستقدم إلى المجلس في المستقبل منظورا يراعي نوع الجنس بصورة تامة.

8. Policies and programmes need to integrate a gender perspective in order to contribute to the empowerment of women and to achieve equality between women and men in all sectors of the economy.
8- ويلزم أن تتضمن السياسات والبرامج منظورا يراعي نوع الجنس بغية المساهمة في تمكين المرأة ولتحقيق المساواة بين النساء والرجال في جميع قطاعات الاقتصاد.

50. The Secretary-General is strongly committed to assuming " responsibility for coordination of policy within the United Nations for the implementation of the Platform for Action and for the mainstreaming of a system-wide gender perspective in all activities of the United Nations " , as requested in paragraph 326 of the Platform for Action.
٥٠ - إن اﻷمين العام ملتزم التزاما قويا " بالاضطلاع بمسؤولية تنسيق السياسة العامة داخل اﻷمم المتحدة وتنفيذ منهاج العمل وبأن يدرج ضمن التيار الرئيسي منظورا يراعي نوع الجنس على نطاق المنظومة في جميع أنشطة اﻷمم المتحدة " . على النحو المطلوب في الفقرة ٣٦٢ من منهاج العمل.

2. In the same resolution, the Commission requested all human rights treaty bodies, special rapporteurs and working groups to regularly and systematically take a gender perspective into account in their reports, findings and recommendations, paying special attention to violations of human rights, particularly those of women and the girl-child.
٢- وطلبت اللجنة، في القرار نفسه، إلى الهيئات المنشأة بموجب معاهدات حقوق اﻹنسان والمقررين الخاصين واﻷفرقة العاملة أن تتوخى منظورا يراعي نوع الجنس فيما تقدمه من تقارير واستنتاجات وتوصيات مع إيلاء اهتمام خاص لانتهاكات حقوق اﻹنسان ولا سيما حقوق المرأة وحقوق الطفلة.

326. The Secretary-General is requested to assume responsibility for coordination of policy within the United Nations for the implementation of the Platform for Action and for the mainstreaming of a system-wide gender perspective in all activities of the United Nations, taking into account the mandates of the bodies concerned.
٣٢٦ - يُطلب إلى اﻷمين العام الاضطلاع بمسؤولية تنسيق السياسات العامة داخل اﻷمم المتحدة لتنفيذ منهاج العمل، وأن يدرج ضمن التيار الرئيسي منظورا يراعي نوع الجنس على نطاق المنظومة بأكملها ليشمل جميع أنشطة اﻷمم المتحدة، أخذا في الاعتبار ولايات الهيئات المختصة.

52. The Commission on the Status of Women, at its forty-first session, recommended that the preparations for the Year include a gender perspective and decided to address the status of older women and the violation of their rights, at its forty-second session, and the differential impact of population ageing on men and women, at its forty-third session.
٥٢ - وقد أوصت لجنة مركز المرأة في دورتها الحادية واﻷربعين بأن تتضمن اﻷعمال التحضيرية للسنة الدولية منظورا يراعي نوع الجنس وقررت أن تتناول مركز المرأة المسنة وانتهاك حقوقها في دورتها الثانية واﻷربعين، واﻷثر المتباين لشيخوخة المجتمعات السكانية على الرجل والمرأة في دورتها الثالثة واﻷربعين.

That committee, which represented a true partnership among Government, non-governmental organizations and civil society, had mainstreamed a gender perspective into the programmes and policies of all 19 government sections, and had thereby integrated women into the Social and Economic Development Plan 1999-2003.
وأضاف أن تلك اللجنة التي تمثل شراكة حقة بين الحكومة والمنظمات غير الحكومية والمجتمع المدني، قد أدخلت منظورا يراعي نوع الجنس في المسار الرئيسي لبرامج وسياسات أقسام الحكومة التسعة عشرة كلها، وبذلك فإنها أدمجت المرأة في خطة التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية للفترة ١٩٩٩-٢٠٠٣.

80. In its resolution 1997/54, the Commission decided to extend the mandate of the Special Representative, as contained in Commission resolution 1984/54, for a further year and requested him to submit an interim report to the General Assembly at its fifty—second session and to report to the Commission at its fifty—fourth session, and to keep a gender perspective in mind when seeking and analysing information.
٠٨- قررت اللجنة، في قرارها ٧٩٩١/٤٥، تمديد ولاية الممثل الخاص على النحو الوارد في قرار اللجنة ٤٨٩١/٤٥ لمدة سنة أخرى، وطلبت منه أن يقدم تقريرا مؤقتا إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثانية والخمسين وتقريرا إلى اللجنة في دورتها الرابعة والخمسين، وأن يعتمد منظورا يراعي نوع الجنس عند التماس المعلومات وتحليلها.
