The General Assembly, in resolution 47/176, welcomed the decision of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to ensure the necessary coordination of contributions within the United Nations system through the Administrative Committee on Coordination and called upon all organs, organizations and programmes of the United Nations system to contribute fully to the preparations for the Conference.
