My delegation considers the teaching of international law to youth as critical in strengthening its acceptance as the foundation for the conduct of relations among nations for the promotion of peace and security.

(a) We welcome with profound satisfaction the signing of the aforementioned Agreement, which is a historic event of the greatest importance for the promotion of peace and security, both in the Middle East and at the international level;
