67. The prevalence of rape and other forms of sexual violence against children remains the most urgent concern in Côte d'Ivoire, with no substantial improvement compared to the previous reporting period.

Resolution 1882 was a major step forward in ensuring the protection of children affected by armed conflict by expanding the triggers for the listing of parties on the annexes of the Secretary-General's report, to include those who kill and maim children as well as commit rape and other forms of sexual violence against children.

81. The prevalence of rape and other forms of sexual violence against children remains one of the many concerns in Côte d'Ivoire.
81 - لا يزال انتشار الاغتصاب وغيره من أشكال العنف الجنسي ضد الأطفال من المسائل الكثيرة التي تبعث على القلق في كوت ديفوار.

The mechanism will review the conduct of all parties to a conflict - Governments as well as insurgents - and will focus on six grave violations, among which number rape and other grave forms of sexual violence against children.
