١١٥ - وستقوم اﻷمم المتحدة عملا بالولاية التي أناطها بها الطرفان، بمتابعة الجوانب التي لم تستكمل بعد من اتفاقات السلم والتحقق منها، وذلك بإقامة مكتب تحقيق ومساع حميدة ينشأ ابتداء من ١ أيار/مايو لفترة ستة أشهر ويتولى اطلاع اﻷمين العام على الحالة بصفة متواصلة.

3. Expresses concern that important elements of the peace accords remain only partially implemented;
٣ - يعرب عن قلقه ﻷن عناصر هامة من اتفاقات السلم لا تزال منفذة تنفيذا جزئيا فحسب؛

Unfortunately, these commitments pertain to aspects of the peace accords which are of such importance that they will call into question the irreversibility of the peace process as a whole as long as they are unfulfilled.

Considering that some form of international presence in El Salvador is still required, Norway supports the proposal of the Secretary-General to establish for a period of six months a small unit within the administrative framework of the United Nations Development Programme, reporting to the Department of Political Affairs, to follow up on outstanding elements of the peace accords.

11. As regards the Mission's tasks, it is anticipated that the future agreement on the timetable for implementation and verification of the peace accords will provide for a number of urgent measures of implementation to be taken before 31 March 1997.
١١ - وفيما يتعلق بالمهام الموكولة إلى البعثة، من المتوقع أن ينص الاتفاق المقبل بشأن الجدول الزمني للتنفيذ والتحقق من اتفاقات السلم على اتخاذ عدد من التدابير العاجلة للتنفيذ قبل ٣١ آذار/مارس ١٩٩٧.

4. Decides, in accordance with the recommendation contained in paragraph 36 of the report of the Secretary-General, to establish a small United Nations Office of Verification, to be headed by an official at an appropriate political level, to follow up implementation of pending aspects of the peace accords in El Salvador through 31 December 1996;
٤ - تقرر، وفقا للتوصية الواردة في الفقرة ٣٦ من تقرير اﻷمين العام، إنشاء مكتب اﻷمم المتحدة للتحقق ليكون مكتبا صغيرا يرأسه موظف على مستوى سياسي مناسب، ويتولى متابعة تنفيذ الجوانب المعلقة من اتفاقات السلم في السلفادور حتى ٣١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٦؛

7. The utmost priority should be given to the proper functioning of the Judicial Training School, conceived as a study centre not only for professional training but also to establish bonds of solidarity among judges and a coherent overall vision of the function of the judiciary in the State - to quote the peace agreements.
٧ - ينبغي إيلاء اﻷولوية العليا للتشغيل المناسب لمدرسة التدريب القضائي، التي تعتبر مركز دراسة لا للتدريب المهني فقط وإنما أيضا ﻹقامة وشائج التضامن بين القضاة ولتكوين رؤية خاصة منسقة لوظيفة السلطة القضائية في الدولة - اقتباسا من اتفاقات السلم.

Concerned none the less that problems persist and that there are continuing delays in the implementation of several important elements of the peace agreements, referred to in Security Council resolution 832 (1993) of 27 May 1993, and that there have also been some irregularities in the implementation of those relating to public security,

At the same time, since ONUSAL will be withdrawing on 30 April 1995, the Human Rights Division has been emphasizing the urgent need to implement those parts of the peace agreements concerning human rights which are still pending, a matter which is of the utmost importance if El Salvador is to complete the framework of legal and institutional safeguards required in order to achieve democracy and lasting peace.
٤ - وما فتئت شعبة حقوق اﻹنسان تؤكد على ضرورة اﻹسراع بتنفيذ ما لم ينفذ بعد من اتفاقات السلم المتعلقة بحقوق اﻹنسان قبل انسحاب بعثة مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في ٣٠ نيسان/ابريل ١٩٩٥ باعتبار ذلك أمرا يكتسي أهمية كبيرة، بغية تمكين السلفادور من استكمال اﻹطار الحمائي القانوني والمؤسسي الذي تقتضيه متطلبات الديمقراطية والسلم الدائم.

Stresses the need to ensure that, under appropriate verification by the United Nations, the police and public security provisions of the peace accords are scrupulously observed, in particular the completion of the demobilization of the National Police, as well as the enhancement of the civilian character of the National Civil Police, in accordance with the timetable agreed by the Government of El Salvador and the FMLN;
