The representative of Mexico informed the Committee that the report of Mexico was being finalized and that consideration was being given to recognizing the competence of the Committee under articles 31 and 32 of the Convention and inviting the Committee to visit the country.
وأبلغ ممثل المكسيك اللجنة بأنه يجري وضع تقرير بلده في صيغته النهائية، وأنه يجري النظر في الاعتراف باختصاص اللجنة بموجب المادتين 31 و32 من الاتفاقية وفي دعوة اللجنة إلى زيارة هذا البلد.

The Committee also recommends that the State party adopt temporary special measures in accordance with article 4, paragraph 1, of the Convention and the Committee's general recommendation No. 25, to ensure the retention of girls in school.
وتوصي اللجنة أيضا الدولة الطرف بأن تعتمد، وفقا لما جاء في الفقرة 1 من المادة 4 من الاتفاقية وفي التوصية العامة رقم 25 للجنة، تدابير خاصة مؤقتة لكفالة إبقاء الفتيات في المدارس.

Thus, the amendments being proposed referred to those rights and used language identical with that of the Convention on the Rights of the Child; amendment 5 was taken from article 28 of the Convention, and amendment 6 quoted its article 14.
وعلى هذا الأساس تشير التعديلات المقترحة إلى هذه الحقوق وتستخدم صيغة مماثلة لصيغة اتفاقية حقوق الطفل؛ وينبثق التعديل الخامس عن المادة 28 من الاتفاقية وفي التعديل السادس اقتطفت المادة 14.

58 - وتهيب اللجنة بالدولة الطرف إشراك السلطات الإقليمية والجهوية والمحلية في إعداد التقارير الدورية المقبلة المقدمة بموجب المادة 18 من الاتفاقية وفي متابعة التعليقات الختامية للجنة.

The Committee also urges the State party to adopt temporary special measures so as to accelerate the achievement of women's de facto equality, as called for in article 4, paragraph 1, of the Convention and in the Committee's general recommendation 25, and in relation to all areas of the Convention where appropriate and necessary.
وكذلك تحث اللجنة الدولة الطرف على اعتماد تدابير خاصة مؤقتة للتعجيل بتحقيق المساواة الواقعية للمرأة، على نحو ما وردت إليه الدعوة في الفقرة 1 من المادة 4 من الاتفاقية وفي التوصية العامة 25 للجنة، وفي ما يتعلق بجميع المجالات في الاتفاقية حيثما يكون مناسبا وضروريا.

4. In considering the proposed plan of work for exploration for cobalt-rich ferromanganese crusts, the Commission took into account the principles, policies and objectives relating to activities in the Area as provided for in Part XI of and annex III to the Convention and in the Agreement relating to the implementation of Part XI of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
