35. Once the criminal law applies fully to assaults on children, the child is protected from corporal punishment wherever he or she is and whoever the perpetrator is.
35- وتطبيق القانون الجنائي بشكل تام على حالات الاعتداء على الأطفال، من شأنه أن يضمن حماية الطفل من العقوبة البدنية أينما ارتُكبت هذه العقوبة وأياً كان مرتكبها.

62. The Constitution guaranteed the protection of children against exploitation and abuse, the right to care from parents and guardians, and protection from corporal punishment in schools and childcare facilities.
62 - وقالت إن الدستور يكفل حماية الأطفال من الاستغلال وإساءة المعاملة، والحق في الرعاية من جانب الأبوين والأوصياء، والحماية من العقوبة البدنية في المدارس ومرافق رعاية الأطفال.

Corporal punishment is considered unlawful in schools under article 27 of the Law on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Children, which confirms the State's policy to create " child-friendly " schools in which students are protected from corporal punishment.
وتعتبر العقوبة البدنية غير قانونية في المدارس بموجب المادة 27 من قانون حماية حقوق الأطفال ومصالحهم مما يؤكد أن الحكومة تنتهج سياسة ترمي إلى تأسيس مدارس تراعي مصالح الأطفال وتحمي الطلاب من العقوبة البدنية.

The Committee remains concerned about the ineffective implementation of existing laws to prevent corporal punishment and the existence of certain regulations in schools that permit forms of corporal punishment.
48- يساور اللجنة القلق إزاء عدم فعالية تطبيق القوانين الحالية في منع العقوبة البدنية، وإزاء وجود لوائح معينة في المدارس تسمح بأشكال من العقوبة البدنية.

(e) There are cases of corporal punishment and bullying in schools;

It also recommended conducting public-awareness efforts to change the attitudes of people to corporal punishment.
