The Secretariat, subject to the availability of resources, will analyse the information specified in paragraph 5 of part III of Annex B to the Convention submitted by parties and any other pertinent and credible information available.
6 - تقوم الأمانة رهناً بتوافر الموارد، بتحليل المعلومات المحددة في الفقرة 5 من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية المقدمة من الأطراف وأي معلومات أخرى متاحة ذات صلة وموثوق بها.

Parties are requested to use this format to also provide the Secretariat with information on the production and use of PFOS, its salts and PFOSF, as specified in paragraph 5(b) of part III of Annex B to the Convention.
ويطلب من الأطراف استخدام هذه الاستمارة لتزويد الأمانة أيضاً بالمعلومات عن إنتاج واستخدام حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني على النحو المحدد في الفقرة 5 (ب) من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية.

Information on the progress made in building the capacity of countries to transfer safely to reliance on alternatives to PFOS, its salts and PFOSF, as specified in paragraph 5(d) of part III of Annex B to the Convention.
(ب) المعلومات عن التقدم المحرز في بناء قدرات البلدان على الانتقال الآمن إلى الاعتماد على بدائل حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني على النحو المحدد في الفقر 5 (د) من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية.

Part III of Annex B of the Convention describes the goal of reducing and ultimately eliminating the production and use of the PFOS substances listed there.
ويبين الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية الهدف المتمثل في خفض إنتاج واستخدام المواد ذات الصلة بالحامض المدرجة في هذا الجزء والقضاء عليها في النهاية.

Eencourage Parties that produce or use DDT for disease vector control to fulfil their obligation under part II of Annex B of the Convention to notify the Secretariat of such production or use;
' 5` تشجيع الأطراف التي تنتج أو تستخدم الـ دي.دي.تي لمكافحة ناقلات الأمراض على تنفيذ التزامها بموجب الجزء الثاني من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية إبلاغ الأمانة بمثل هذا الإنتاج أو ذلك الاستخدام؛

2. As set out in paragraph 6 of part II of Annex B of the Convention, the Conference of the Parties is required to evaluate the continued need for disease vector control at its first meeting and at least every three year thereafter.
2 - وكما يرد في الفقرة 6 من الجزء الثاني من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية فإنه يُطلب إلى مؤتمر الأطراف تقييم استمرار الحاجة لأجل مكافحة حاملات الأمراض وذلك أثناء اجتماعه الأول، ثم بعد ذلك كل ثلاث سنوات على الأقل.

In response to the above-mentioned request in decision SC-5/8, the Secretariat prepared a draft format for reporting by parties that use and/or produce PFOS, its salts and PFOSF on the progress made in eliminating those chemicals in accordance with paragraph 3 of part III of Annex B to the Convention.
5 - استجابة للطلب المشار إليه أعلاه في المقرر ا س- 5/8، أعدت الأمانة مشروع استمارة لإبلاغ الأطراف التي تستخدم و/أو تنتج حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني فيما يتعلق بالتقدم المحرز في القضاء على هذه المواد الكيميائية وفقاً للفقرة 3 من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية.

The main directive that guided the review was paragraph 4, Part II of Annex B to the Convention which states: " ....each Party that uses DDT shall provide to the Secretariat.....information on the amount used, the conditions of such use and its relevance to that Party's disease management strategy.... "
وقد اهتدى الاستعراض بالتوجيه الرئيسي المتمثل في الفقرة 4 من الجزء الثاني من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية التي تنص على: " أن يزود كل طرف يستخدم الـ دي. دي. تي، الأمانة.... بمعلومات عن الكمية المستخدمة، وظروف ذلك الاستخدام، ومدى صلته باستراتيجية ذلك الطرف المتعلقة بمكافحة الأمراض.... " .

By its decision SC-5/8, on exemptions, the Conference of the Parties requested the Secretariat to prepare a draft format for reporting by parties that used or produced perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), its salts and perfluorooctane sulfonyl fluoride (PFOSF) on the progress made in eliminating those chemicals in accordance with paragraph 3 of part III of Annex B to the Convention.
4 - وطلب مؤتمر الأطراف إلى الأمانة، بمقتضى مقرره ا س - 5/8 المتعلق بالإعفاءات، أن تعد مشروع نموذج لتقديم التقارير من جانب الأطراف التي استخدمت أو أنتجت حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني (PFOS) وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني (PFOSF) عن التقدم المحرز على صعيد القضاء على هذه المواد الكيميائية وفقاً للفقرة 3 من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية.

To develop a process to enable the Conference of the Parties to evaluate the continued need for PFOS, its salts and PFOSF for the various acceptable purposes and specific exemptions on the basis of available scientific, technical, environmental and economic information and to report on progress in that regard at the sixth meeting of the Conference of the Parties in accordance with paragraphs 5 and 6 of part III of Annex B to the Convention.
(ب) أن تضع عملية لتمكين مؤتمر الأطراف من تقييم استمرار الحاجة إلى حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني لمختلف الأغراض المقبولة والإعفاءات المحددة في ضوء المعلومات العلمية والتقنية والبيئية والاقتصادية المتوافرة، والإبلاغ عن التقدم في هذا المجال للاجتماع السادس لمؤتمرا لأطراف وفقاً للفقرة 5 من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية.

Pursuant to paragraph 1 of Part II of Annex B of the Convention, Parties that intend to use and / or produce DDT shall notify the Secretariat thereof and the Secretariat is required to maintain the DDT Register, which is available through the Stockholm Convention Website at http://www.pops.int/.
فطبقاً للفقرة 1 من الجزء الثاني من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية يتوجب على الأطراف التي تعتزم استخدام و/أو إنتاج الـ دي.دي.تي أن تبلغ الأمانة بذلك، ومن ثم لتكون الأمانة مطالبة بالاحتفاظ بسجل للـ دي.دي.تي، الذي يمكن الاطلاع عليه عن طريق الموقع الشبكي لاتفاقية استكهولم على العنوان http://www.pops.int/.

Under paragraph 6 of Part II of Annex B of the Convention, the Conference of the Parties is required, commencing at its first meeting and at least every three years thereafter, to evaluate the continued need for DDT in disease vector control;
(أ) أن الفقرة 6 من الجزء الثاني من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية تشترط علي مؤتمر الأطراف، ابتداءً من أول اجتماع له وعلي الأقل مرة كل ثلاث سنوات بعـد ذلك أن يقيّم استمرار الحاجـة للـ دي. دي.

The draft format would also allow parties to submit information specified in paragraph 5(b) of part III of Annex B of the Convention on the production and use of PFOS, its salts and PFOSF.
وسوف يتيح مشروع الاستمارة للأطراف تقديم المعلومات المحددة في الفقرة 5 (ب) من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية بشأن إنتاج واستخدام حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني.

Decides to amend part I of Annex B of the Convention to list perfluorooctane sulfonic acid, its salts and perfluorooctane sulfonyl fluoride therein by inserting the following row, with the acceptable purposes and specific exemptions specified in the row:
1 - يقرر تعديل الجزء الأول من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية لإدراج حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني فيه، وذلك بإضافة الصف التالي، مع ذكر الأغراض المقبولة والإعفاءات المحددة في الصف:

Under paragraph 4 of Part II of Annex B of the Convention, each Party that uses DDT is required every three years to provide to the Secretariat and the World Health Organization information on the amount used, the conditions of such use and its relevance to the Party's disease management strategy in a format to be decided by the Conference of the Parties;
(ب) أن الفقرة 4 من الجزء الثاني من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية تنص علي أن يزود كل طرف يستخدم الـ دي. دي. تي الأمانة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية كل ثلاث سنوات، بمعلومات عن الكمية المستخدمة وظروف ذلك الاستخدام ومدى صلته باستراتيجية ذلك الطرف المتعلقة باستراتيجية إدارة مكافحة الأمراض وذلك في شكل يقرره مؤتمر الأطراف بالتشاور مع منظمة الصحة العالمية؛
