Being in general agreement with the main thrust of the report, namely, to strengthen the functions of protection and search for durable solutions and to delegate further operational responsibility for assistance and, bearing in mind the necessity that UNHCR should function within its mandate, particularly in the context of recommendations 1, 3 and 8, the Committee endorsed the report and its recommendations.
٢٨ - واللجنة، إذ تتفق بشكل عام مع الاتجاه الرئيسي للتقرير، وهو تعزيز مهام الحماية والبحث عن حلول دائمة وتفويض المزيد من المسؤوليات التنفيذية فيما يتعلق بتقديم المساعدة، وإذ تضع في الاعتبار ضرورة أن تعمل المفوضية في حدود ولايتها، لاسيما في سياق التوصيات ١ و ٣ و ٨، تؤيد التقرير والتوصيات الواردة فيه.
