The present report develops arguments presented in the previous report of the Special Rapporteur to the sixty-seventh session of the General Assembly, which focused on businesses profiting from Israeli settlements and described the involvement of 13 businesses in the activities of Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory with reference to the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

A comparison of replies received from the Governments concerned to the Special Rapporteur's urgent appeals and letters shows that the ratio of the number of Governments which received allegations from the Special Rapporteur to those which provided replies during the same year has not changed substantially since 1992.
١٦٣- ويتبين من مقارنة الردود الواردة من الحكومات المعنية ردا على النداءات العاجلة الموجهة من المقرر الخاص وعلى رسائله أن نسبة عدد الحكومات التي تلقت ادعاءات من المقرر الخاص إلى تلك التي قدمت ردودا خلال السنة ذاتها لم تتغير كثيرا منذ عام ٢٩٩١.
