93. The representative of Chile proposed to replace paragraph 6 of the revised text submitted by France by a paragraph which read as follows:
٣٩- واقترح ممثل شيلي الاستعاضة عن الفقرة ٦ من النص المنقح المقدم من فرنسا بفقرة نصها كما يلي:

The Commission was informed that the Working Group had undertaken a review of articles 8 to 15 of the revised text of the preliminary Convention at its forty-second session.
وأبلغت اللجنة بأن الفريق العامل كان قد قام باستعراض المواد 8 إلى 15 من النص المنقح للاتفاقية الأوّلية في دورته الثانية والأربعين.

Paragraph 18 of the revised text requested the Secretary-General to provide the necessary resources for that Committee to meet for two separate sessions in 2008, the first session to be of two consecutive weeks' duration and the second session to be of one week's duration.
وأردف قائلا إن الفقرة 18 من النص المنقح تطلب من الأمين العام أن يوفر الموارد الضرورية لتلك اللجنة كي تجتمع في دورتين منفصلتين في عام 2008، تستغرق الدورة الأولى أسبوعين متتالين في حين تستغرق الدورة الثانية أسبوعا واحدا.

11. Staff rule 101.2 (a) of the revised text of chapter 1 of the 100 series of the Staff Rules, noted1 by the General Assembly in its resolution 52/252, states in this regard that:
١١ - وتنص المادة ١٠١-٢ )أ( من النص المنقح للفصل اﻷول من السلسلة ٠٠١ من النظام اﻷساسي للموظفين، الذي أشار إليه قرار الجمعية العامة ٢٥/٢٥٢، في هذا الصدد على ما يلي)١(:

٤٥ - وقال إن التعليق على المادة ٣ من النص المنقح يؤيد ملاحظاته، فهو يذكر بأن التزام الدول باتخاذ تدابير لمنع وقوع ضرر جسيم عابر للحدود أو للتقليل من مخاطره إلى أدنى حد هو التزام ببذل العناية الواجبة، وأن الالتزام الذي تفرضه المادة ٣ ليس التزاما بالنتيجة.

218. The Chairman-Rapporteur also suggested that the words " and effective monitoring on " , " feasible " and " relevant " in paragraph 1 of the revised text proposed by Belgium should be placed in brackets and that the heading of this chapter should read " Basic measures other than a possible optional protocol needed for ... " .

90. Ms. Steele (United States of America) said that her Government regretted that it could not join the consensus because of the programme budget implications of paragraph 35 of the revised text of draft resolution B, in particular, as contained in document A/54/21/Add.1.

91. Mr. Sattar (Secretary of the Committee) read out paragraph 35 of the revised text of draft resolution B and said that, in that paragraph, the Committee on Information was not requesting specific measures which would have financial consequences but was requesting the Secretary-General to continue his efforts and to submit proposals to the Committee on Information for consideration at its next session.

Article 16 of the revised text, for example, referred to “persons ... who may be or are exposed to the risk of significant transboundary harm”, instead of to “persons who have suffered significant transboundary harm”, as article 20 of the original draft articles had done.
فعلى سبيل المثال، تشير المادة ٦١ من النص المنقح إلى " اﻷشخاص .... المعرضين أو الذين قد يتعرضون لمخاطر ضرر جسيم عابر للحدود " ، بدلا من " اﻷشخاص الذين يعانون من ضرر جسيم عابر للحدود " كما نصت المادة ٢٠ من مشاريع المواد اﻷصلية.
