5- ترجو من الأمين العام أن يتخذ التدابير الضرورية لكفالة إيلاء اهتمام خاص لتعيين موظفين من البلدان النامية لملء الشواغر الحالية والمناصب الإضافية الأخرى في المفوضية، ضماناً للتوزيع الجغرافي العادل، مع إيلاء أولوية خاصة في هذا الصدد للتعيين في المناصب الرفيعة المستوى والمناصب من الفئة الفنية ولتعيين النساء؛

On 29 September, the Security Council adopted resolution 944 (1994), in which it requested the Secretary-General to take steps to ensure the immediate completion of the deployment of the observers and other elements of the UNMIH advance team.

At the 32nd meeting, on 14 July, the Council took note of the report of the Secretary-General on the Thirteenth United Nations Regional Cartographic Conference for Asia and the Pacific, endorsed the Conference's recommendation concerning the convening of the Fourteenth Conference and requested the Secretary-General to take measures to implement the other recommendations of the Conference.
٦٤ - وفي الجلسة ٣٢ المعقودة في ١٤ تموز/يوليه، أحاط المجلس علما بتقرير اﻷمين العام عن مؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة اﻹقليمي الثالث عشر لرسم الخرائط ﻵسيا والمحيط الهادئ ووافق على توصية المؤتمر بشأن عقد المؤتمر الرابع عشر وطلب من اﻷمين العام أن يتخذ اﻹجراءات اللازمة لتنفيذ توصيات المؤتمر اﻷخرى.

In view of the outstanding number of claims (see para. 7 above), the Advisory Committee requests the Secretary-General to take the necessary measures to expedite the processing of claims.

Requests the Secretary-General to take all necessary action to ensure that the Verification Mission is administered with a maximum of efficiency and economy and, in particular, to implement fully the economy, financial and efficiency measures to be approved during the resumed forty-eighth session but no later than 1 May 1994, and to report on the implementation of such measures in the context of the performance report relevant to the period;
٧ - تطلب من اﻷمين العام أن يتخذ جميع التدابير اللازمة التي تكفل إدارة بعثة التحقق بأقصى قدر من الكفاءة والاقتصاد ولا سيما التنفيذ التام للتدابير الاقتصادية والمالية وتدابير الكفاءة التي ستعتمد أثناء الدورة المستأنفة الثامنة واﻷربعين وفي موعد لا يتجاوز ١ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٤ وأن يقدم تقريرا عن تنفيذ هذه التدابير في إطار تقرير اﻷداء ذي الصلة بهذه الفترة؛

54. Mr. Najem (Lebanon), speaking on behalf of the Group of Arab States, said that in paragraph 5 of draft resolution A/C.5/52/L.52 the General Assembly had requested the Secretary-General to take the necessary measures to ensure that Israel should pay the amount of $1.7 million resulting from its attack on the headquarters compound of the Fijian battalion of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) at Qana on 18 April 1996.
٥٤ - السيد نجم )لبنان(: تكلم نيابة عن مجموعة الدول العربية، وقال إن الجمعية العامة طلبت، في الفقرة ٥ من مشروع القرار A/C.5/52/L.52 من اﻷمين العام أن يتخذ الاجراءات الضرورية لالزام إسرائيل بدفع مبلغ ١,٧ مليون دولار، تكلفة هجومها على موقع كتيبة فيجي في مقر قوات اﻷمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان في قانا يوم ١٨ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٦.
