11. Addressing the structural disadvantages of the least developed countries and helping them to enter a path of sustainable development and growth requires significant progress in the eight priority areas of the Istanbul Programme of Action.

3. The overarching goal of the Istanbul Programme of Action (IPoA) is to overcome the structural challenges faced by the least developed countries in order to eradicate poverty, generate employment, achieve internationally agreed development goals and enable graduation from the least developed country category.

18. Recalls paragraph 157 of the Istanbul Programme of Action, in which the General Assembly was invited to consider conducting a comprehensive high-level midterm review of the implementation of the Programme of Action;
18 - تشير إلى الفقرة 157 من برنامج عمل اسطنبول التي دُعيت فيها الجمعية العامة إلى النظر في إجراء استعراض شامل رفيع المستوى لمنتصف مدة تنفيذ برنامج العمل؛

The overarching goal of the IPoA is to overcome the structural challenges faced by the LDCs in order to eradicate poverty, achieve internationally agreed development goals and enable half the number of LDCs to meet the criteria for graduation from the least developed country category by 2020.
والهدف الشامل المتوخى من برنامج عمل اسطنبول هو التغلب على التحديات الهيكلية التي تواجهها أقل البلدان نمواً وذلك من أجل القضاء على الفقر، وتحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية المتفق عليها دولياً وتمكين نصف عدد أقل البلدان نمواً من استيفاء معايير الخروج من هذه الفئة بحلول سنة 2020.

21. Finally, she said that the least developed countries and the priority areas of the Istanbul Programme of Action should be given pride of place in the post-2015 development agenda.
21 - واختتمت كلمتها بقولها إن أقل البلدان نموا والمجالات ذات الأولوية من برنامج عمل اسطنبول ينبغي أن تحتل مكان الصدارة في خطة التنمية لما بعد عام 2015.

7. The mandate to assist LDCs and contribute to the implementation of the Istanbul Programme of Action stems from paragraph 156 of the Istanbul Programme of Action and paragraph 18 (g) of the Doha Mandate.
7- تنبع ولاية الأونكتاد المتعلقة بمساعدة أقل البلدان نمواً والمساهمة في تنفيذ برنامج عمل اسطنبول من الفقرة 156() من برنامج عمل اسطنبول والفقرة 18(ز)() من ولاية الدوحة.

11. Emphasizes the full, timely and effective implementation of the relevant provisions of the Istanbul Programme of Action for the Least Developed Countries for the Decade 2011-2020;

In its resolution 68/224, the General Assembly underlined the need to ensure the mutual accountability of the least developed countries and their development partners and requested the Secretary-General to report on the follow-up to paragraph 145 of the Istanbul Programme of Action regarding the steps taken to ensure mutual accountability.

58. The main objective of the Istanbul Programme of Action is to bring a much more significant number of least developed countries to graduation by the end of the decade, while also providing for support to newly graduated countries so that they do not fall back into the category.
58 - ويتمثل الهدف الأساس من برنامج عمل اسطنبول في مساعدة عدد أكبر من أقل البلدان نموا على الخروج من القائمة بحلول نهاية العقد، والعمل في الوقت ذاته على توفير الدعم للبلدان الحديثة العهد بالخروج من القائمة حتى لا تسقط مجددا في فئة البلدان الأقل نموا.

Building on the Programme of Action, the fifty-eighth session of the Trade and Development Board, requested the secretariat to continue to report to its regular session on the UNCTAD-wide implementation of the relevant provisions of the Istanbul Programme of Action.
وبالاستناد إلى برنامج العمل، طلب() مجلس التجارة والتنمية، في دورته الثامنة والخمسين، إلى الأمانة الاستمرار في تقديم التقارير إلى المجلس في دوراته العادية عن التنفيذ على نطاق الأونكتاد للأحكام ذات الصلة من برنامج عمل اسطنبول.

13. Welcomes with appreciation the decisions taken by the executive boards of various United Nations system organizations to mainstream the relevant provisions of the Istanbul Programme of Action into the work of the Secretariat and its intergovernmental machinery, and in this regard invites the governing bodies of all other United Nations funds and programmes and multilateral organizations to do the same in an expeditious manner;
13 - يرحب مع التقدير بما اتخذته المجالس التنفيذية لمختلف مؤسسات منظومة الأمم المتحدة من قرارات لتعميم الأحكام ذات الصلة من برنامج عمل اسطنبول في أعمال الأمانة وجهازها الحكومي الدولي، ويدعو في هذا الصدد مجالس إدارة سائر صناديق الأمم المتحدة وبرامجها ومؤسساتها المتعددة الأطراف إلى أن تحذو حذوها سريعاً؛
