The types of information to be exchanged with regards to smuggling of migrants are explained in Article 10 of the Smuggling of Migrants Protocol.
وتبيّن المادة 10 من بروتوكول تهريب المهاجرين أنواعَ المعلومات المطلوب تبادلها فيما يتعلق بتهريب المهاجرين.

Article 27 of the Organized Crime Convention encourages close cooperation among States, while article 10 of the Smuggling of Migrants Protocol requires States to exchange information regarding:
وتشجّع المادة 27 من اتفاقية الجريمة المنظمة على التعاون الوثيق بين الدول، بينما تقتضي المادة 10 من بروتوكول تهريب المهاجرين من الدول أن تتبادل المعلومات المتعلقة بما يلي:

Article 11, paragraph 6 of the Smuggling of Migrants Protocol requires States parties to consider strengthening cooperation among border control agencies by, inter alia, establishing and maintaining direct channels of communication.
14- وتُلزم الفقرةُ 6 من المادة 11 من بروتوكول تهريب المهاجرين الدولَ الأطرافَ بأن تـنظر في توطيد التعاون فيما بين أجهزة مراقبة الحدود، وذلك بوسائل من ضمنها إنشاء قنوات مباشرة للاتصال والمحافظة عليها.

Article 12 of the Smuggling of Migrants Protocol requires States parties to ensure that travel and identity documents are of such quality that they cannot be altered or misused, and to ensure the security of States parties' travel documents so they are not unlawfully issued.
15- تُلزم المادة 12 من بروتوكول تهريب المهاجرين الدول الأطراف بالتأكّد من أن تكون وثائق الهوية والسفر التي تصدرها ذات نوعية تجعل من المتعذر تحريفها أو إساءة استخدامها وبضمان أمن وثائق السفر الصادرة عن الدول الأطراف للحيلولة دون إصدارها بطريقة غير مشروعة.

In case of detention, States parties should give special attention to their obligations under the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, as referred to in article 16, paragraph 5, of the Smuggling of Migrants Protocol.
وفي حالات الاحتجاز، ينبغي للدول الأطراف أن تولي اهتماما خاصا للالتزامات الواقعة عليها بموجب اتفاقية فيينا للعلاقات القنصلية، على النحو المشار إليه في الفقرة 5 من المادة 16 من بروتوكول تهريب المهاجرين.

11. Encourages Member States to cooperate with each other and with relevant international organizations to the fullest extent possible, in accordance with articles 18 and 19 of the Smuggling of Migrants Protocol and applicable obligations under relevant international law;
11- يشجِّع الدولَ الأعضاءَ على أن تتعاون فيما بينها ومع المنظمات الدولية ذات الصلة بأقصى قدر ممكن وفقاً للمادتين 18 و19 من بروتوكول تهريب المهاجرين والالتزامات السارية في هذا الشأن بموجب أحكام القانون الدولي ذات الصلة؛

11. Encourages Member States to cooperate with each other and with relevant international organizations to the fullest extent possible, in accordance with articles 18 and 19 of the Smuggling of Migrants Protocol and applicable obligations under relevant international law;
11 - يشجع الدول الأعضاء على أن تتعاون فيما بينها ومع المنظمات الدولية ذات الصلة بأقصى قدر ممكن وفقا للمادتين 18 و 19 من بروتوكول تهريب المهاجرين والالتزامات السارية في هذا الشأن بموجب أحكام القانون الدولي ذات الصلة؛

The purpose of the Smuggling of Migrants Protocol is stated in its article 2 as being " to prevent and combat the smuggling of migrants, as well as to promote cooperation among States parties to that end, while protecting the rights of smuggled migrants. "
7- والهدف من بروتوكول تهريب المهاجرين وفقاً للمادة 2 هو " منع ومكافحة تهريب المهاجرين، وكذلك توطيد التعاون بين الدول الأطراف تحقيقا لتلك الغاية، مع حماية حقوق المهاجرين المهرَّبين " .

Article 15, paragraph 1, of the Smuggling of Migrants Protocol requires States parties to take measures to provide or strengthen information programmes to increase public awareness of the fact that smuggling of migrants is a criminal activity frequently perpetrated by organized criminal groups for profit and that it poses serious risks to the migrants concerned.
24- تُلزم الفقرة 1 من المادة 15 من بروتوكول تهريب المهاجرين الدولَ الأطرافَ باتخاذ التدابير لتوفير أو تعزيز برامج إعلامية لزيادة الوعي العام بأنَّ تهريب المهاجرين هو نشاط إجرامي كثيرا ما ترتكبه جماعات إجرامية منظَّمة سعيا للربح، وأنه يسبِّب مخاطر شديدة للمهاجرين المعنيين.

Article 15 of the Smuggling of Migrants Protocol requires States to cooperate in public information campaigns. Where migrant smugglers recruit migrants through misinformation about the conditions of travel and the opportunities for remaining and working in a destination country, such cooperation is crucial to counter such messages.
27- وتُلزم المادة 15 من بروتوكول تهريب المهاجرين الدول بأن تتعاون في مجال الحملات الإعلامية، إذ يعتبر هذا التعاون مهما لمكافحة الرسائل التي يوجّهها مهرِّبو المهاجرين لحشد مهاجرين باستخدام معلومات مضلِّلة عن ظروف السفر والفرص السانحة للبقاء في بلد المقصد والحصول على عمل فيه.

Article 11, paragraph 1 of the Smuggling of Migrants Protocol states that " [w]ithout prejudice to international commitments in relation to the free movement of people, States parties shall strengthen, to the extent possible, such border controls as may be necessary to prevent and detect the smuggling of migrants. "
10- تنص الفقرة 1 من المادة 11 من بروتوكول تهريب المهاجرين على أنه " دون الإخلال بالتعهّدات الدولية فيما يتعلق بحريـة حركة الناس، تعزِّز الدولُ الأطرافُ الضوابطَ الحدودية إلى أقصى حدٍّ ممكن، بقدر ما يكون ذلك ضروريا لمنع وكشف تهريب المهاجرين " .
