في بداية الجلسة الأولى لكل اجتماع عادي ينتخب رئيس وثلاثة نواب للرئيس ومقرر من بين ممثلي الأطراف الحاضرة في الاجتماع.

1 - تنتخب اللجنة من بين ممثلي الأطراف مكتباً يتألف من رئيس واحد، وتسعة نواب يقوم أحدهم بمهمة المقرر.

6. Rule 22 of the rules of procedure, as amended by decision 20/COP.2, provides for the election of the President from among the representatives of the Parties present at the session.
6- تنص المادة 22 من النظام الداخلي، بصيغته المعدلة بموجب المقرر 20/م أ-2، على انتخاب الرئيس من بين ممثلي الأطراف الحاضرة في الدورة.

23. In accordance with rule 22 of the rules of procedure contained in decision 1/COP.1, as amended by decision 20/COP.2, nine Vice-Presidents shall be elected by the COP from among the representatives of the Parties present at the session.
23- عملاً بالمادة 22 من النظام الداخلي الوارد في المقرر 1/م أ-1، بصيغته المعدلة بموجب المقرر 20/م أ-2، يُنتخب من بين ممثلي الأطراف الحاضرين في الدورة تسعة نواب للرئيس.

5. In accordance with rule 22 of the rules of procedure contained in decision 1/COP.1, as amended by decision 20/COP.2, the Chair of the Committee shall be elected by the COP from among the representatives of the Parties present at the session.
5- وفقاً للمادة 22 من النظام الداخلي الوارد في المقرر 1/م أ-1، بصيغته المعدلة بالمقرر 20/م أ-2، ينتخب من بين ممثلي الأطراف الحاضرة في الدورة رئيس اللجنة.

3 - وفي بداية الجلسة الأولى من الاجتماع، سيتم انتخاب رئيس وثلاثة نواب للرئيس ومقرّر من بين ممثلي الأطراف الحاضرة الاجتماع.

Pursuant to rule 22 of the draft Rules of Procedure, Vice-Presidents and the Chairperson of the Committee on Science and Technology, who are to serve as the Bureau of the session, shall be elected from the representatives of the Parties present at the session.
عملاً بالمادة ٢٢ من مشروع النظام الداخلي، يُنتخب نواب الرئيس ورئيس لجنة العلم والتكنولوجيا، الذين يشكلون مكتب الدورة، من بين ممثلي اﻷطراف الحاضرة في الدورة.

In accordance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of rule 21 of the rules of procedure, the eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties is to elect a President, three Vice-Presidents and one Rapporteur from the representatives of Parties present at the meeting to serve as the officers for the twelfth meeting of the Conference of the Parties.
5 - ووفقاً للفقرتين 1 و2 من المادة 21 من النظام الداخلي فإن الاجتماع الحادي عشر لمؤتمر الأطراف سينتخب رئيساً وثلاثة نواب للرئيس ومقرراً واحداً من بين ممثلي الأطراف الحاضرين للاجتماع لكي يعملوا كأعضاء لمكتب الاجتماع الثاني عشر لمؤتمر الأطراف.
