Pursuant to General Assembly resolution 65/37 B, a workshop was held in Chile from 13 to 15 September 2011, under the auspices of the United Nations, in support of the first phase of the first assessment cycle of the regular process for global reporting and assessment of the state of the marine environment, including socio-economic aspects.
عملا بقرار الجمعية العامة 65/37 باء، انعقدت حلقة دراسية في شيلي في الفترة من 13 إلى 15 أيلول/سبتمبر 2011، برعاية الأمم المتحدة، دعماً للمرحلة الأولى من دورة التقييم الأولى للعملية المنتظمة للإبلاغ عن حالة البيئة البحرية وتقييمها على الصعيد العالمي، بما في ذلك الجوانب الاجتماعية - الاقتصادية.

(4) The Ad Hoc Working Group of the Whole recommends that the General Assembly recognize the work of the Group of Experts of the Regular Process during the second phase of the first assessment cycle and urge regional groups that have not yet done so to appoint experts to the Group of Experts in accordance with paragraph 180 of Assembly resolution 64/71.

(4) The Ad Hoc Working Group of the Whole recommends that the General Assembly request the members of the Group of Experts, who have served in the Group of Experts for the duration of the first phase of the first assessment cycle pursuant to paragraph 209 of General Assembly resolution 65/37 A, to continue serving in the Group of Experts for the second phase of the first assessment cycle.
