وترحب الجمعية بالغاء قيود السفر من جانب البلد المضيف فيما يتعلق ببعض البعثــات وموظفــي اﻷمانــة العامة الحاملين لبعض الجنسيات، وتعرب عن أملها فــي أن يرفــع البلد المضيف ما تبقى من قيود السفر في أقرب وقــت ممكن.

5. Welcomes the lifting of travel controls by the host country with regard to certain missions and staff members of the Secretariat of certain nationalities, and expresses the hope that the remaining travel restrictions will be removed by the host country as soon as possible, and in this regard notes the positions of the affected States, of the Secretary-General and of the host country;
٥ - ترحب بما قام به البلد المضيف من إلغاء قيود السفر فيما يتعلق ببعض البعثات وموظفي اﻷمانة العامة الحاملين لبعض الجنسيات، وتعرب عن أملها في أن يرفع البلد المضيف ما تبقى من قيود السفر في أقرب وقت ممكن، وتلاحظ في هذا الصدد مواقف الدول المتضررة واﻷمين العام والبلد المضيف؛

During the period under review, the Committee considered and approved two requests for a waiver from the travel restrictions imposed by resolution 1171 (1998).
وخلال الفترة قيد الاستعراض، نظرت اللجنة في طلبين للإعفاء من قيود السفر التي فرضها القرار 1171 (1998) ووافقت عليهما.

At its 1st meeting, on 14 January 2004, the Committee discussed several issues of immediate relevance to its work, including the revision of the travel ban list, as well as the procedures both for maintaining the list and for requesting exemptions from the travel restrictions.
وناقشت اللجنة، في جلستها الأولى المعقودة في 14 كانون الثاني/يناير 2004، عدة مسائل ذات صلة مباشرة بعملها، منها تنقيح قائمة الممنوعين من السفر، فضلا عن الإجراءات المتعلقة بكل من تعهُّد القائمة وطلب استثناءات من قيود السفر.

)د( فيما يتعلق بأنظمة السفر التي أصدرها البلد المضيف بشأن موظفي بعض البعثات وموظفي اﻷمانة العامة من بعض الجنسيات، فإن اللجنة تعرب عن أملها في أن يقوم البلد المضيف بازالة ما تبقى من قيود السفر في أقرب وقت ممكن.

In this connection, it should be noted that, on 2 July 2002, the Committee agreed on standardized procedures for applying for exemptions from the travel restrictions contained in paragraph 7 (a) of resolution 1343 (2001).
ويجدر التنويه في هذا الصـدد إلى أنهـا وافقت في 2 تموز/يوليه 2002 على الإجراءات الموحدة لطلب الإعفاء من قيود السفر الواردة في الفقرة 7 (أ) من القرار 1343 (2001).
