The United Kingdom has no doubt about its sovereignty over the British Antarctic Territory and in this context draws attention to article IV of the Antarctic Treaty to which both the United Kingdom and Argentina are parties.

كما تؤكد ضرورة مراعاة ما تنص عليه المادة الرابعة من معاهدة أنتاركتيكا الموقعة في 1 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1959، و جمهورية الأرجنتين والمملكة المتحدة لبريطانيا العظمى وأيرلندا الشمالية، إلى جانب دول أخرى، أطراف فيها.

As a result, a resolution was adopted recommending that Governments draw to the attention of their national Antarctic programmes and any other research institutes that might be engaged in biological prospecting in the Antarctic, article III (1) of the Antarctic Treaty.
