In addition, pursuant to the agreement " that requesting States Parties are encouraged, as necessary, to seek assistance from the Implementation Support Unit (ISU) in the preparation of their requests " , the President encouraged the use of the advisory services of the ISU in the preparation of requests.

The 10MSP President acted on this recommendation, with assistance from the ISU and financial support from Norway, and convened a workshop on 7 March 2011 to increase the knowledge and build the capacity of representatives of States Parties mandated to analyse requests.
وقد عمل رئيس الاجتماع العاشر للدول الأطراف وفقاً لهذه التوصية، بمساعدة من وحدة دعم تنفيذ الاتفاقية وبدعم مالي من النرويج، ودعا إلى عقد حلقة عمل في 7 آذار/مارس 2011 لزيادة معارف ممثلي تلك الدول الأطراف المكلفين بتحليل الطلبات وبناء قدراتهم.

7. In keeping with the decision taken at the 7MSP which sees that States Parties are encouraged, as necessary, to seek assistance from the Implementation Support Unit in the preparation of their requests, beginning in August 2009 and frequently since, the ISU made the availability of its assistance known to the Republic of the Congo.
7- وانسجاماً مع القرار الذي اتخذه الاجتماع السابع للدول الأطراف والذي يرى " تشجيع الدول الأطراف الطالبة للتمديد، عند اللزوم، على طلب المساعدة من وحدة دعم تنفيذ الاتفاقية من أجل إعداد طلباتها " ، ابتداء من آب/أغسطس 2009 ثم بانتظام بعدئذ، أعلمت وحدة الدعم جمهورية الكونغو بأن مساعدتها متاحة.

As well, the ISU is conscious that the 2006 Seventh Meeting of the States Parties (7MSP) agreed that Article 5 requesting States Parties " are encouraged, as necessary, to seek assistance from the Implementation Support Unit in the preparation of their requests. "
