Under action 5, the nuclear-weapon States committed themselves to accelerating concrete progress on the steps leading to nuclear disarmament and were called upon to promptly engage so as to, inter alia, " Further enhance transparency and increase mutual confidence " and to report back to the Preparatory Committee at its third session in 2014 on the undertakings set out in action 5.
