28. As a first step, the Special Rapporteur would like to urge the Government of Myanmar to release urgently all political prisoners at risk (phase 1), including female political prisoners and those who are aged or ill.

I have urged and will continue to urge the Government of Myanmar to heed the call by the international community, including the countries of the region, and release Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and other NLD leaders without further delay.
وقد حثَثْتُ وما زلت أحُثُّ حكومة ميانمار على أن تصغي إلى نداء المجتمع الدولي بما في ذلك بلدان المنطقة وأن تفرج عن داو أونغ سان سوكي وغيرها من زعماء العصبة الوطنية من أجل الديمقراطية دون مزيد من التأخير.

18. Encourages the Government of Myanmar to create the necessary conditions to ensure an end to the flows of refugees to neighbouring countries and to facilitate their speedy repatriation and their full reintegration, in conditions of safety and dignity;
١٨ - تشجع حكومة ميانمار على أن تهيئ الظروف اللازمة لضمان إنهاء تدفقات اللاجئين إلى البلدان المجاورة وتسهيل عودتهم السريعة إلى وطنهم وإعادة إدماجهم الكامل، في ظروف تتوفر فيها السلامة والكرامة؛

3. Again urges the Government of Myanmar to take, in conformity with the assurances given at various times, all necessary measures to establish a democratic State in full accordance with the will of the people as expressed in the democratic elections held in 1990;
٣- تحث مرة أخرى حكومة ميانمار على أن تتخذ وفقاً للضمانات التي قدمتها مراراً وتكراراً، جميع التدابير اللازمة في سبيل إقامة دولة ديمقراطية باحترام ارادة الشعب كاملة كما تم الاعراب عنها في الانتخابات الديمقراطية التي جرت في عام ١٩٩٠؛

The Special Rapporteur also urged Myanmar to ratify the 1997 Mine Ban Treaty.

The General Assembly urged Myanmar to ensure that necessary steps be taken towards a free and transparent electoral process.
