It reiterated that persons deprived of their liberty may not be subjected to any hardship or constraint other than that resulting from the deprivation of liberty and that they must be treated in accordance with, inter alia, the Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners.
وأكدت من جديد أنه لا يجوز إخضاع المحرومين من حريتهم لأي معاناة أو قيد عدا ما هو ناجم عن الحرمان من الحرية وأنه يجب معاملتهم وفقاً لمجموعة من المعايير من بينها القواعد النموذجية الدنيا لمعاملة السجناء.

The Committee also refers to its jurisprudence, where it stated that persons deprived of liberty may not be subjected to any hardship or constraint other than that resulting from the deprivation of liberty and that the measure of their treatment under the Covenant is as set out, inter alia, in the Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners (1957).
وتشير اللجنة أيضاً إلى اجتهاداتها السابقة، حيث بيّنت أنه لا يمكن تعريض الأشخاص المحرومين من حريتهم لأي مشقة أو قيد غير ما هو ناجم عن الحرمان من الحرية وأن قياس معاملتهم بموجب العهد يكون كما هو محدد في جملة من الصكوك، منها القواعد النموذجية الدنيا لمعاملة السجناء (1957)().
