The member States seek to enhance the efficiency and performance of the staff working in drug-control units, who benefit from training courses and scientific seminars and symposiums held in this field, which are organized by the Naif Arab Academy for Security Studies, the scientific organ of the Arab Interior Ministers' Council.
وتحرص الدول اﻷعضاء على رفع مستوى أداء وكفاءة العاملين لديها في أجهزة مكافحة المخدرات، والاستفادة مـــن الدورات التدريبية والندوات والحلقات العلمية التي تنظمها في هذا المجال أكاديمية نايف العربية للعلوم اﻷمنية، التي تعتبر الجهاز العلمي لمجلس وزراء الداخلية العرب.

Since the establishment of the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences nearly 30 years ago, many international activities have served to provide security personnel with up-to-date knowledge and experience.
19- منذ إنشاء جامعة نايف العربية للعلوم الأمنية قبل قرابة ثلاثين عاماً، لا يزال العديد من الأنشطة الدولية يُزوِّد موظفي الأمن بأحدث المعارف والخبرات في هذا الميدان.

To translate its Strategy into action, the Council adopted an initial phased triennial plan in 1998 containing a range of programmes whose execution was entrusted to the General Secretariat (the administrative and technical body of the Council) and the Nayef Arab Academy for Security Sciences (the scientific body of the Council).
