(b) An analysis of living conditions and the human rights situations of indigenous peoples in urban areas through case studies on themes such as housing, employment, education, transition/settlement services, identities and ethnic mobility, cultural and linguistic continuity and human security, in particular among indigenous women and youth;

States and United Nations entities should promote the active participation of representatives of indigenous peoples, including indigenous women and youth, at the forty-seventh session of the Commission on Population and Development, which will review the implementation of the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development.

121. The Permanent Forum takes note of the UNDP Global Programme for Electoral Cycle Support initiative, with its focus on indigenous women and youth in Latin America, and appreciates the contributions provided by donors to ensure the success of the initiative.

The Permanent Forum takes note of the Global Programme for Electoral Cycle Support initiative, with its focus on indigenous women and youth in Latin America, led by the United Nations Development Programme, and appreciates the contributions of donors provided to ensure the success of the Programme.

The Expert Mechanism noted that access to justice is of particular importance " given the gravity of the issues facing indigenous peoples, including discrimination in criminal justice systems, particularly for indigenous women and youth " (A/HRC/21/52, p. 4).

(d) That the United Nations country teams contribute to strengthening and integrating the rights of indigenous women and youth into national and subnational development strategies and sectoral plans, particularly but not exclusively in the areas of sexual health and reproductive rights and maternal mortality and morbidity, as well as in adolescent and youth policies and plans;
(د) إسهام أفرقة الأمم المتحدة القطرية في تعزيز وإدماج حقوق نساء وشباب الشعوب الأصلية في استراتيجيات التنمية الوطنية ودون الوطنية وفي الخطط القطاعية، وخاصة وليس حصرا في مجالات الصحة الجنسية والحقوق الإنجابية، والوفيات النفاسية واعتلال الأمهات، وكذلك في السياسات والخطط المعنية بالمراهقين والشباب؛

(b) Proposes that the Human Rights Council request the Expert Mechanism to prepare a study on indigenous peoples and access to justice given the gravity of the issues facing indigenous peoples, including discrimination against indigenous peoples in criminal justice systems, particularly for indigenous women and youth.
(ب) تقترح أن يطلب مجلس حقوق الإنسان من آلية الخبراء إعداد دراسة عن موضوع الشعوب الأصلية والوصول إلى العدالة، وذلك بالنظر إلى خطورة القضايا التي تواجه الشعوب الأصلية، بما في ذلك التمييز ضدها في نظم العدالة الجنائية، ولا سيما فيما يخص نساء وشباب الشعوب الأصلية.

68. It is recommended that United Nations country teams strengthen and integrate the rights of indigenous women and youth in developing strategies and national and subsectoral plans, particularly, but not exclusively, in the areas of sexual and reproductive health and rights, maternal mortality and morbidity, as well as in policies and plans aimed at adolescents and young people.
68 - وأوصي بأن تقوم أفرقة الأمم المتحدة القطرية بتعزيز وإدماج حقوق نساء وشباب الشعوب الأصلية لدى وضع الاستراتيجيات الوطنية والخطط دون القطاعية، وخاصة، ولكن ليس على سبيل الحصر، في مجالات الصحة والحقوق الجنسية و الإنجابية، والوفاة والاعتلال أثناء النفاس، وفي السياسات والخطط التي تستهدف المراهقين والشباب.

14. At its seventh session in 2008, the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues recognized the crucial role of indigenous women in developing mitigation and adaptation measures on climate change and recommended the development of mechanisms for indigenous peoples' participation, in particular indigenous women and youth, in all aspects of the international dialogue on climate change.
14 - وفي الدورة السابعة لعام 2008، للمنتدى الدائم المعني بقضايا الشعوب الأصلية سلَّم المنتدى بالأهمية البالغة لدور نساء الشعوب الأصلية في وضع تدابير للتخفيف من آثار التغيير المناخي والتكيف معه، وأوصى بتطوير آليات لمشاركة الشعوب الاصلية، وبخاصة نساء وشباب الشعوب الأصلية، في جميع جوانب الحوار الدولي المتعلقة بتغير المناخ().
