"نشز" - Translation from Arabic to English

For 15 years, they haven't spoken because of a prayer sung out of tune.
لخمسة عشر عاماً لم يتحدثا لأن مصلياً نشز عن النغمة

Compare this with the ruling that " If the husband behaves badly toward his wife and does not give her adequate maintenance, and it is not possible to put the matter before a lawful judge ... and if her remaining in his house is a cause of anguish and distress, she has the right to leave his house and return to the house of her family or others (article 313 of the Ja'fari legal manual).
يقابل هذا الحكم أنه " إذا نشز الزوج فلم يؤدِّ إلى زوجته النفقة اللازمة من دون عذر شرعي، وتعذّر رفع أمرها إلى الحاكم الشرعي...وكان بقاؤها معه في بيته حرجاً وعسراً، فلها الخروج من بيته إلى بيت أهلها أو غيره " ( مادة 313 من دليل القضاء الجعفري).
