Background: As requested by decision 5/CP.12, the SBSTA, at its twenty-sixth session, considered the text of a draft decision on development and transfer of technologies.
20- معلومات أساسية: بناء على الطلب في المقرر 5/م أ-2 نظرت الهيئة الفرعية في دورتها السادسة والعشرين، في نص مشروع مقرر عن تطوير التكنولوجيات ونقلها.

The Working Group did not achieve consensus, however, and accordingly agreed that following that meeting interested Parties would consult informally on the text of a draft decision on the matter for consideration by the Nineteenth Meeting of the Parties.

Annex I to that report contained the text of a draft decision on adoption of the rules of procedure, proposed by the President of the Conference at its second session, whereby the Conference would adopt the rules of procedure annexed to that decision, with the exception of draft rule 22, paragraph 1, and draft rule 42, paragraph 1, on the understanding that draft rule 22, paragraph 1, would continue to be applied.

At that same meeting, the Working Group approved the text of a draft decision on the Basel Protocol on Liability and Compensation, as orally amended, for possible adoption by the Conference of the Parties at its seventh meeting.
71- ووافق الفريق العامل في نفس الجلسة على نص مشروع مقرر عن بروتوكول بازل بشأن المسؤولية والتعويض، بالشكل الذي عدل به شفاهة، من أجل احتمال اعتماد مؤتمر الأطراف له في اجتماعه السابع.

Decides to forward the text of a draft decision contained in the annex to this decision, for consideration by the Subsidiary Body for Implementation at its thirty-eighth session, with a view to recommending a draft decision on this matter, for adoption by the Conference of the Parties at its nineteenth session.

At the same meeting, the observer for Switzerland, as facilitator of the informal consultations held on the draft decision, circulated a text of a draft decision in an informal paper, wherein the Council would, inter alia, transmit draft decision V to the General Assembly for its consideration.

325. At the 49th meeting, on 22 July, the observer for Switzerland circulated, in an informal paper, the text of a draft decision entitled " Report of the third session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues " .
325- في الجلسة 49، المعقودة في 22 تموز/يوليه، عمّم المراقب عن سويسرا في ورقة غير رسمية نص مشروع مقرر معنون " تقرير الدورة الثالثة للمنتدى الدائم المعني بقضايا الشعوب الأصلية " .

The contact group was also mandated to prepare draft decision text on the consultative process that would be included in the omnibus decision for possible adoption by the conferences of the parties at their second simultaneous extraordinary meetings.
