1. To urge all Parties to implement fully Article 4B of the Protocol by establishing and implementing a system for licensing the import and export of controlled ozone depleting substances as well as recommendations contained in existing decisions of the Parties, notably decisions IX/8, XIV/7, XVII/12, XVII/16 and XVIII/18;

Noting with appreciation the report submitted by Armenia on its progress in implementing its commitment contained in decision XVIII/20 to introduce a system for licensing the import and export of ozone-depleting substances that includes import quotas by 1 July 2007,

The Party had also reported the establishment of a system for licensing the import and export of ozone-depleting substances and the Multilateral Fund secretariat had also informed the Ozone Secretariat that El Salvador had reported the establishment of a quota system for imports of ozonedepleting substances.

It has submitted a proposal to its Executive to obtain the necessary Parliamentary motion to introduce the ban on the importation of halon-dependent equipment and interim quota system, and establish a system for licensing the import and export of ozone-depleting substances.

(b) To further request Eritrea to notify the Secretariat in writing, immediately after it has established and commenced operation of a system for licensing the import and export of ozonedepleting substances, in accordance with its obligations under Article 4B of the Protocol;

(b) Further to request Eritrea to notify the Secretariat in writing, immediately after it had established and commenced operation of a system for licensing the import and export of ozonedepleting substances, in accordance with its obligations under Article 4B of the Protocol;
(ب) تطلب كذلك من إريتريا إخطار الأمانة كتابة، ومباشرة بعد إنشاء نظام لتراخيص استيراد وتصدير المواد المستنفدة للأوزون وبدء تشغيله وفقاً لالتزاماتها بموجب المادة 4 باء من البروتوكول؛

The Party further explained that it had commenced operation in January 2005 of a system for licensing the import of ozone-depleting substances and equipment dependent upon such substances and that training of customs officers in the new system had been completed at all major ports in the country.
كما أوضح الطرف أنه بدأ في كانون الثاني/يناير 2005 تشغيل نظام لتراخيص استيراد المواد المستنفدة للأوزون والمعدات المعتمدة على هذه المواد، وأن تدريب موظفي الجمارك على النظام الجديد قد استكمل في جميع موانئ البلد الرئيسية.
