20. We recognize commitments made by States, with regard to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, to consult and cooperate in good faith with the indigenous peoples concerned through their own representative institutions in order to obtain their free and informed consent prior to the approval of any project affecting their lands or territories and other resources.
20 - ونقر بالتزامات قطعتها دول، بصدد إعلان الأمم المتحدة بشأن حقوق الشعوب الأصلية، بأن تتشاور وتتعاون بحسن نية مع الشعوب الأصلية المعنية من خلال المؤسسات التي تمثلها للحصول على موافقتها الحرة والمستنيرة قبل الموافقة على أي مشروع يمس أراضيها أو أقاليمها وغير ذلك من مواردها.

(c) Article 19, which states that States are to consult and cooperate in good faith with the indigenous peoples concerned through their own representative institutions in order to obtain their free, prior and informed consent before adopting and implementing legislative or administrative measures that may affect them.

14. 92. The Permanent Forum urges the Governments of Canada and the United States to work in good faith with indigenous peoples for the unqualified endorsement and full implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, and urges that such endorsement and implementation honour the spirit and intent of the Declaration, consistent with indigenous peoples' human rights.
92 - ويحث المنتدى الدائم حكومتي كندا والولايات المتحدة على العمل بحسن نية مع الشعوب الأصلية من أجل التأييد التام والتنفيذ الكامل لإعلان الأمم المتحدة بشأن حقوق الشعوب الأصلية، كما يحث على أن يحترم هذا التأييد والتنفيذ روح ومقصد الإعلان بما يتفق مع حقوق الإنسان للشعوب الأصلية.
