On 24 July the Secretary-General informed the members of the Council of his intention to appoint Harri Holkeri as his Special Representative and Head of UNMIK.
وفي 24 تموز/يوليه، أبلغ الأمين العام أعضاء المجلس باعتزامه تعيين هاري هولكري ممثلا خاصا له ورئيسا لبعثة الأمم المتحدة للإدارة المؤقتة في كوسوفو.

I should like to take the opportunity to pay tribute to the role of the international community in bringing about the Good Friday Agreement, in particular that of the independent chairman, former Senator George Mitchell of the United States of America, former Prime Minister Harri Holkeri of Finland and General John de Chastelain of Canada.
وأود أن أغتنم هذه الفرصة لﻹشادة بدور المجتمع الدولي في التوصل إلى اتفاق الجمعة العظيمة، وعلى وجه الخصوص، الدور الذي اضطلع به الرئيس المستقل، السناتور السابق جورج ميتشل من الولايات المتحدة اﻷمريكية، ورئيس وزراء فنلندا السابق هاري هولكري والجنرال جون دي تشاستلين من كندا.

In accordance with resolution 55/242, the General Assembly elected the President of the fifty-fifth regular session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Harri Holkeri (Finland), President of the twenty-sixth special session of the General Assembly.
وفقا للقرار 55/242، انتخبت الجمعية العامة رئيس الدورة الخامسة والخمسين للجمعية العامة، سعادة السيد هاري هولكري (فنلندا)، رئيسا للدورة الاستثنائية السادسة والعشرين للجمعية العامة.
