1. Each State Party shall encourage States not party to this Convention to ratify, accept, approve or accede to this Convention, with the goal of attracting the adherence of all States to this Convention.
1 - تشجع كل دولة طرف الدول غير الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية على التصديق على هذه الاتفاقية أو قبولها أو الموافقة عليها أو الانضمام إليها، بغرض العمل على انضمام جميع الدول إلى هذه الاتفاقية.

3. Each Contracting State shall apply this Convention to contracts of carriage concluded on or after the date of the entry into force of this Convention in respect of that State.
٣- تُطبِّق كل دولة متعاقدة هذه الاتفاقية على عقود النقل التي تُبرَمُ في تاريخ بدء نفاذ هذه الاتفاقية فيما يخص تلك الدولة أو بعده.

3. Each Contracting State shall apply this Convention to contracts of carriage concluded on or after the date of the entry into force of this Convention in respect of that State.
٣ - تطبق كل دولة متعاقدة هذه الاتفاقية على عقود النقل التي تبرم في تاريخ بدء نفاذ هذه الاتفاقية فيما يخص تلك الدولة أو بعده.

On depositing its instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, a State which is not a party to a treaty listed in the Annex may declare in writing that, in the application of this Convention to that State Party, that treaty shall not be deemed to be included in the Annex.
يجوز ﻷي دولة ليست طرفا في واحدة من المعاهدات الواردة في المرفق أن تعلن خطيا لدى إيداع صكوك تصديقها على هذه الاتفاقية أو قبولها لها أو موافقتها عليها أو انضمامها إليها بأنه عند تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية على تلك الدولة الطرف، لن ينظر إلى تلك المعاهدة باعتبارها مدرجة في المرفق.

Unless the claimant State and the State from which compensation is due under this Convention agree on another form of compensation, the compensation shall be paid in the currency of the claimant State or, if that State so requests, in the currency of the State from which compensation is due.
