It would also continue participating in the Preparatory Commission in a cooperative spirit in order that the instruments on the Rules of Procedure and Evidence and the Elements of Crimes might be completed before June 2000.

262. The Preparatory Commission has made some progress in drafting the Rules of Procedure and Evidence and the Elements of Crimes for the future Court, but much remains to be done if the deadline of 30 June 2000 set by the Rome Conference is to be met.
٢٦٢ - وقد أحرزت اللجنة التحضيرية بعض التقدم في صوغ القواعد اﻹجرائية المتعلقة باﻹثبات وأركان الجرائم للمحكمة الجنائية المستهدف إنشاؤها. ولكن إذا أريد الوفاء بالموعد الذي حدده مؤتمر روما وهو ٠٣ حزيران/يونيه ٠٠٠٢، يبقى الكثير الذي ينبغي عمله.
