At its resumed session, held in Vienna on 6 and 7 September 2001, the Commission approved the draft terms of reference and forwarded them to the General Assembly, through the Economic and Social Council, for consideration and action.2
وأقرّت اللجنة مشروع الإطار المرجعي في دورتها المستأنفة، المعقودة في فيينا من 6 إلى 7 أيلول/سبتمبر 2001، وأحالته إلى الجمعية العامة، عن طريق المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، للنظر فيه واتخاذ الإجراء اللازم.(2)

Recalling that it had approved the substance of the commentary to chapter VII during the first part of its fortieth session (A/62/17 (Part I), para. 158), the Commission approved the substance of the revised commentary subject to the following changes and any consequential editorial amendments:
57- استذكرت اللجنة أنها أقرت مضمون التعليق على الفصل سابعا خلال الجزء الأول من دورتها الأربعين (الوثيقة A/62/17 (Part I)، الفقرة 158)، وأقرّت اللجنة مضمون التعليق المنقح، رهنا بإدخال التعديلات التالية وأي تنقيحات تحريرية تترتب على ذلك:

the Committee endorsed the recommendation that the symposium should address synthetic aperture radar missions and their applications.
