٧ - وقد طلبت اللجنة التحضيرية، في دورتها التنظيمية، إلى اﻷمين العام، أن يقوم في إطار العملية التحضيرية بتنظيم اجتماعات للخبراء تركز على القضايا اﻷساسية لمؤتمر القمة، وأن يحيل نتائج هذين الاجتماعين إلى دورتها الموضوعية اﻷولى.

In resolution 1999/39 entitled " Implementation of the Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Intolerance and of Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief " , the Special Rapporteur is invited to contribute effectively to the preparatory process for the World Conference and to forward to the High Commissioner his recommendations on religious intolerance which have a bearing on the World Conference (para. 7).
