وإذ تذكﱢر بحق كل إنسان في أن يتمتع بفوائد التقدم العلمي وبتطبيقاته، وفقا لما نص عليه العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية،

recalling the Agreement on a Comprehensive Political Settlement of the Cambodia Conflict signed in Paris on 23 October 1991, including Part III relating to human rights,
وإذ تذكﱢر بالاتفاق المتعلق بتحقيق تسوية سياسية شاملة للنزاع في كمبوديا، الموقع عليه في باريس في ٣٢ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩١، بما في ذلك الجزء الثالث المتعلق بحقوق اﻹنسان،

Believing that the World Public Information Campaign for Human Rights is a valuable complement to the activities of the United Nations aimed at the further promotion and protection of human rights, and recalling the importance attached by the World Conference on Human Rights to strengthening the World Campaign,

وإذ تذكﱢر بالتزام الدول اﻷطراف باحترام القانون اﻹنساني الدولي ومراعاته مراعاة تامة وفقا لاتفاقيات جنيف بشأن حماية ضحايا الحرب المعقودة في ٢١ آب/أغسطس ٩٤٩١ وبروتوكوليها اﻹضافيين لعام ٧٧٩١ ومبادئ القانون الدولي اﻷخرى،

The Committee, noting the long-standing attachment of the State party to international human rights instruments and recalling its active participation in the drafting process of the Convention, expresses satisfaction at the early ratification of the Convention by Senegal.
٧٥٢- إن اللجنة، إذ تحيط علما بالارتباط الراسخ للدولة الطرف مع الصكوك الدولية لحقوق اﻹنسان، وإذ تذكﱢر بمشاركتها الفعالة في عملية صياغة الاتفاقية، تعرب عن ارتياحها لتصديق السنغال المبكر على الاتفاقية.
