وإذ ترحب ببرنامج عمل مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الأول المعني بالاتجار غير المشروع بالأسلحة الصغيرة والأسلحة الخفيفة من جميع جوانبه، الذي عقد في نيويورك في الفترة من 9 إلى 20 تموز/يوليه 2001(50)،

welcoming the Programme of activities carried out by the regional centres, which have contributed substantially to understanding and cooperation among the States in each particular region and have thereby strengthened the role assigned to each regional centre in the areas of peace, disarmament and development,
وإذ ترحب ببرنامج اﻷنشطة التي تضطلع بها المراكز الاقليمية، والتي أسهمت بصورة كبيرة في تحقيق التفاهم والتعاون بين الدول في كل منطقة ومن ثم عززت الدور المناط بكل مركز اقليمي في مجالات السلم ونزع السلاح والتنمية،

وإذ ترحب ببرنامج العمل الذي اعتمده مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة المعني بالاتجار غير المشروع بالأسلحة الصغيرة والأسلحة الخفيفة من جميع جوانبه()، الذي يجب تنفيذه على وجه السرعة،

I, resolution 1, annex. held at Cairo from 5 to 13 September 1994, which called upon all countries to take full measures to eliminate all forms of exploitation, abuse, harassment and violence against women,
