In April 2014, the State of Palestine acceded to 20 international treaties, including eight human rights treaties, the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions, the Hague Convention (IV) respecting the Laws and Customs of War on Land and the Regulations respecting the Laws and Customs of War on Land.
