FATF recommendation 1 states that countries should criminalize money-laundering on the basis of the 1988 Convention and the Organized Crime Convention.
فالتوصية 1 تنص على أنه ينبغي للدول الأعضاء أن تجرِّم غسل الأموال استنادا إلى اتفاقية سنة 1988 واتفاقية الجريمة المنظمة.

The Organized Crime Convention applies specifically to cases where economic or financial crimes have been perpetrated by organized criminal groups.
واتفاقية الجريمة المنظّمة تنطبق بصفة محدّدة على الحالات التي ترتكب فيها الجرائم الاقتصادية أو المالية جماعات إجرامية منظّمة.

Assistance is provided in support of the 1988 Convention, the Organized Crime Convention and the Convention against Corruption.

29- شدّد العديد من المتكلمين على الترابط والتكامل بين آليتي الاستعراض المحتملتين لاتفاقية مكافحة الفساد واتفاقية الجريمة المنظّمة.

The fact that a large number of States have become parties to the 1988 Convention, the Organized Crime Convention and the Financing of Terrorism Convention means that much international cooperation in this area can be based on multilateral instruments.
