The World Report on Violence against Children addressed the situation of unaccompanied, refugee and migrant children and highlighted the increasing exposure of children to violence in situations of conflict, crisis and foreign occupation, including the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
وأشار إلى أن التقرير العالمي حول العنف ضد الأطفال تناول وضع الأطفال غير المصحوبين بذويهم، والأطفال المهاجرين واللاجئين وأبرز زيادة تعرض الأطفال للعنف في حالات الصراع والأزمات والإحتلال الأجنبي، بما في ذلك الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة.

36. A delegate stressed that the vulnerability and specific needs of migrant women and migrant children should receive due attention, including through institutional frameworks and legislative measures.

ولا بد من إجراء المزيد من الدراسات التي تتصل باحتياجات المهاجرين في مجال الصحة العقلية وتعترف بعلاقة الترابط الحاسمة بين الظروف الاجتماعية والصحة العقلية وتساعد على تبصّر ما هو مناسب من رعاية ومساعدة في مجال الصحة العقلية ولا سيما في صفوف المهاجرات والأطفال المهاجرين والمهاجرين المحتجزين.

Accordingly, the Special Rapporteur suggests that States that still punish irregular migration with imprisonment should revise and reform their migration laws, decriminalize irregular migration and provide special protection for unaccompanied and accompanied migrant children.

17. In order to address the vulnerability and the specific risks of violence faced by unaccompanied children, migrant children and children who are refugees or asylum seekers, Member States are urged, as appropriate and without prejudice to their obligations under international law:
١٧- ومن أجل التصدِّي لهشاشة أوضاع الأطفال المشردين والأطفال المهاجرين والأطفال اللاجئين أو طالبي اللجوء وما يتهدَّد كل هؤلاء الأطفال من مخاطر عنف محدَّدة، تُحَثُّ الدول الأعضاء، عند الاقتضاء ودون المساس بالتزاماتها بموجب القانون الدولي، على ما يلي:

109. The Government had been supporting and taking a special interest in children from multicultural families and migrant children in terms of policymaking.
109- وتقدم الحكومة الدعم إلى أطفال الأسر متعددة الثقافات والأطفال المهاجرين وتبدي اهتماماً خاصاً بهم عند صياغة سياساتها.

The Committee also regrets the lack of information from the State party on the different criteria for evaluating the effective implementation of the Convention, in particular with regard to migrants in transit, migrant women, unaccompanied migrant children and cross-border and seasonal migrant workers.
وتعرب اللجنة عن أسفها أيضاً لعدم تقديم الدولة الطرف معلومات عن مختلف المعايير المستخدمة لتقييم تنفيذ الاتفاقية تنفيذاً فعالاً، وخاصة فيما يتصل بالمهاجرين العابرين والنساء المهاجرات والأطفال المهاجرين غير المصحوبين والعمال المهاجرين الموسميين والعابرين للحدود.

Recalling its general recommendations No. 27 (2000) on discrimination against Roma and No. 30 (2009) on discrimination against non-citizens, the Committee recommends that the State party continue to strengthen its efforts to protect Roma children and immigrant children from bullying in schools.
توصي اللجنة، مشيرة إلى توصيتها العامة رقم 27(2000) بشأن التمييز ضد الروما وتوصيتها العامة رقم 30(2009) بشأن التمييز ضد غير المواطنين، بأن تواصل الدولة الطرف تعزيز جهودها الرامية إلى حماية أطفال الروما والأطفال المهاجرين من تسلّط الأقران في المدارس.

Paragraph 5 of the Secretary-General's report referred to the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD), and focused on national admission policies which, it contended, should not be discriminatory in nature and should protect women and child migrants from discrimination.
