Among those instruments still pending, ratification of the Additional Protocol to the American Convention on Human Rights relative to Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, of the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and of the American Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of Torture would be particularly important.

3. Greece is party to all regional and international human rights instruments, including the European Convention on Human Rights, the international covenants on human rights and the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

27. The Committee invites the State party to ratify the principal United Nations human rights treaties to which it is not yet a party, namely the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Optional Protocol to the Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.
27- وتدعو اللجنة الدولة الطرف إلى التصديق على معاهدات الأمم المتحدة الرئيسية المتعلقة بحقوق الإنسان التي ليست طرفاً فيها بعد، وهي البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية حقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة والبروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة والبروتوكول الاختياري للعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية.

The Committee recommends that the State party, in order to further strengthen the fulfilment of children's rights, ratify the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on a communications procedure, the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and its Optional Protocol and the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.
86- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف، في سبيل تعزيز إعمال حقوق الطفل بها، بأن تصدق على البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية حقوق الطفل المتعلق بإجراء تقديم البلاغات، واتفاقية حقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة وبروتوكولها الاختياري، والبروتوكول الاختياري للعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية.

The delegation referred to some of the instruments it had recently acceded to, including the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse, the Council of Europe Convention on Contact concerning Children and the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (OP-ICESCR).
٦- وذكر الوفد بعض الصكوك التي انضم إليها البلد في الآونة الأخيرة، ومنها اتفاقية مجلس أوروبا بشأن حماية الأطفال من الاستغلال الجنسي والاعتداء الجنسي، واتفاقية مجلس أوروبا المتعلقة بالاتصال بالأطفال، والبروتوكول الاختياري للعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية.

32. The delegation also identified a number of treaties to which Australia is not a party, but which are currently under consideration, including the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance (CED) and the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (OP-CESCR).
32- وحدد الوفد كذلك عدداً من المعاهدات التي ليست أستراليا طرفاً فيها لكنها قيد النظر حالياً ومنها الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية جميع الأشخاص من الاختفاء القسري والبروتوكول الاختياري للعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية.

At its twenty-first session, in 1966, the General Assembly adopted the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (resolution 2200 A (XXI)). The Covenant and the Optional Protocol thereto entered into force on 23 March 1976.
