2. Convention Concerning the Protection of World Culture and natural heritage

The Convention does not differentiate between " cultural " heritage and " natural " heritage, a distinction that can be problematic for World Heritage sites located on indigenous peoples' lands and territories because indigenous peoples' lives and spiritual beliefs are inseparable from their lands, territories and natural resources.
