" ١١ - يُراعى في اﻹجراءات المتخذة لتعزيز هذا اﻹعلان أن تحترم تماما السيادة الوطنية والولاية اﻹقليمية للدول اﻷعضاء، فضلا عن حقوق والتزامات الدول اﻷعضاء بموجب المعاهدات القائمة والقانون الدولي، ويراعى فيها أن تكون متسقة مع حقوق اﻹنسان والحريات اﻷساسية " ؛

A clear, concise and coherent statement of the current rules of international law and the obligations of Member States in a single document should be of significant practical assistance;
فإصدار بيان واضح وموجز ومترابط بالقواعد الحالية للقانون الدولي والتزامات الدول اﻷعضاء في وثيقة واحدة سيمثل مساعدة عملية مهمة في هذا الصدد؛

Accordingly, they supported the proposal for adoption of a statement reaffirming the principles of (Mr. Abdellah, Tunisia) international law and the obligations of Member States with regard to the status and safety of United Nations personnel.
وطبقا لذلك فهي تؤيد اقتراح اعتماد بيان يؤكد من جديد مبادئ القانون الدولي والتزامات الدول اﻷعضاء فيما يتعلق بمركز موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة وسلامتهم.

Some delegations expressed the view that the future protocol was intended to address only the distinct and important issue of financing for commercial space activities and not to affect the rights and obligations of parties to the outer space treaties or the rights and obligations of States members of ITU under its Constitution and Convention and its Regulations.
93- وأُعربت بعض الوفود عن رأي مؤداه أن المقصود من البروتوكول المقبل هو مجرد معالجة المسألة المتميزة والهامة المتمثلة في تمويل الأنشطة الفضائية التجارية وليس المساس بحقوق والتزامات الأطراف في معاهدات الفضاء الخارجي أو حقوق والتزامات الدول الأعضاء في الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات بمقتضى دستوره واتفاقيته ولوائحه.

ينبغي لﻹجراءات المتخذة تعزيزا لهذا اﻹعلان أن تعبر عن الاحترام الكامل للسيادة الوطنية والولاية القضائية الاقليمية للدول اﻷعضاء، وكذلك حقوق والتزامات الدول اﻷعضاء المقررة بموجب المعاهدات القائمة والقانون الدولي، وأن تكون متوافقة مع حقوق الانسان والحريات اﻷساسية بصورتها التي تعترف بها اﻷمم المتحدة.

The General Assembly had requested the advisory opinion in order to assist its activities in the area of nuclear disarmament. Subsequently, the International Court of Justice rendered an opinion which has direct impact on the activities of the General Assembly and on the policies and obligations of Member States in the area of nuclear disarmament.
ولما كانت الجمعية العامة قد طلبت فتوى من أجل مساعدة أنشطتها في مجال نزع السلاح النووي، فقد أصدرت محكمة العدل الدولية من ثم فتوى لها تأثير مباشر على أنشطة الجمعية العامة وعلى سياسات والتزامات الدول اﻷعضاء في مجال نزع السلاح النووي.

)أ( الدعوة الى صياغة إعلان من شأنه، في جملة أمور، أن يعيد تأكيد مبادئ القانون الدولي والتزامات الدول اﻷعضاء فيما يتعلق بمركز أفراد اﻷمم المتحدة وسلامتهم؛

116- وأشارت بعض الوفود إلى أن البروتوكول المقبل يستهدف فحسب معالجة المسألة المتميزة والهامة المتمثلة في توفير التمويل للأنشطة الفضائية التجارية، ولا يقصد لـــه المساس بحقوق والتزامات الأطراف في معاهدات الفضاء الخارجي أو حقوق والتزامات الدول الأعضاء في الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات بمقتضى دستوره واتفاقيته ولوائحه.

It was to be hoped that the protocol would strike a delicate balance between the rights and obligations of States parties.
وقال، يجب أن نأمل في أن يتحقق التوازن المطلوب بين حقوق والتزامات الدول الأعضاء.
