" 3. Requests the Commission on Science and Technology for Development to explore initiatives aimed at addressing the special needs of the developing countries in areas such as agriculture, information and communication technologies and environmental management;
" 3 - تطلب إلى اللجنة المعنية بتسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا لأغراض التنمية أن تستكشف مبادرات تهدف إلى تلبية الحاجات الخاصة للبلدان النامية في مجالات مثل الزراعة، وتكنولوجيات المعلومات والاتصالات، وإدارة البيئة؛

3. Requests the Commission on Science and Technology for Development to facilitate the sharing of national experiences in building technological capabilities and promote technology foresighting through multi-stakeholder partnership.
3 - يطلب إلى اللجنة المعنية بتسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا لأغراض التنمية أن تيسر تقاسم الخبرات الوطنية في مجال بناء القدرات التكنولوجية وتشجيع التصورات المستقبلية للتكنولوجيا من خلال إقامة شراكات بين أصحاب مصلحة متعددين.

" 4. Decides that the Commission on Science and Technology for Development should place particular emphasis in its work on policy issues and options related to the development, transfer and utilization of environmentally sound technologies, specifically addressing the following technologies:
" ٤ - يقرر أنه ينبغي للجنة تسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا ﻷغراض التنمية أن تركز بصفة خاصة في أعمالها على قضايا السياسات والخيارات المتصلة بالتنمية وبتحويل واستخدام التكنولوجيات السليمة من الناحية البيئية ولا سيما معالجة التكنولوجيات التالية:

" 3. Requests the Commission on Science and Technology for Development to report on its biennial session, through the Economic and Social Council, to the General Assembly at its fifty-sixth session, in particular regarding proposals aimed at promoting complementarity of activities in the area of new and innovative technologies within the United Nations system; " 4.
" 3 - تطلب إلى اللجنة المعنية بتسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا لأغراض التنمية أن تقدم تقريرا عن دورتها لفترة السنتين، من خلال المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها السادسة والخمسين، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بالمقترحات الرامية إلى تعزيز تكامل الأنشطة في مجال التكنولوجيات الجديدة والمبتكرة داخل منظومة الأمم المتحدة؛

3 - تطلب إلى اللجنة المعنية بتسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا لأغراض التنمية أن تقدم من خلال المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، تقريرا عن دورتها لفترة السنتين، إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها السادسة والخمسين، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بالمقترحات الرامية إلى تعزيز تكامل الأنشطة في مجال التكنولوجيات الجديدة والمبتكرة داخل منظومة الأمم المتحدة؛

On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Vienna Conference on Science and Technology for Development, it was especially important that the Commission on Science and Technology for Development should strengthen its interaction with the Commission on Sustainable Development, the Administrative Committee on Coordination, the regional commissions and the multilateral and bilateral financial institutions.
وبمناسبة الذكرى السنوية العشرين لمؤتمر فيينا لتسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا ﻷغراض التنمية، من الضروري جدا للجنة تسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا ﻷغراض التنمية أن تعزز تفاعلها مع لجنة التنمية المستدامة ولجنة التنسيق اﻹدارية واللجان اﻹقليمية والمؤسسات المالية المتعددة اﻷطراف والثنائية.
