وتذكر الفقرة 6 من إعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة أن كل محاولة تستهدف تقويض الوحدة القومية والسلامة الإقليمية لأي بلد تكون متنافية وميثاق الأمم المتحدة.

This resolution establishes in paragraph 6 that " any attempt aimed at the partial or total disruption of the national unity and the territorial integrity of a country is incompatible with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations " .
وينص هذا القرار، في الفقرة 6، على أن " كل محاولة تستهدف التقويض الجزئي أو الكلي للوحدة القومية والسلامة الإقليمية لأي بلد تكون متنافية ومقاصد ميثاق الأمم المتحدة ومبادئه " .

7. Paragraph 6 of resolution 1514 (XV) states that any attempt aimed at the partial or total disruption of the national unity and the territorial integrity of a country -- in this case, the Argentine Republic -- is incompatible with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations.
7 - وتنص الفقرة السادسة من القرار 1514 (د-15) على أن كل محاولة تستهدف التقويض الجزئي أو الكلي للوحدة القومية والسلامة الإقليمية لأي بلد - والمقصود هنا جمهورية الأرجنتين - تكون متنافية مع مقاصد ميثاق الأمم المتحدة ومبادئه.

He cited, in that connection, General Assembly resolution 1514 (XV) of 14 December 1960, which stated that any attempt aimed at the partial or total disruption of the national unity and the territorial integrity of a country was incompatible with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations.
وأشار في هذا الصدد إلى قرار الجمعية العامة 1514 (د-15)المؤرخ 14 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1960، الذي جاء فيه أن كل محاولة تستهدف التقويض الجزئي أو الكلي للوحدة القومية والسلامة الإقليمية لأي بلد تكون متنافية ومقاصد ميثاق الأمم المتحدة ومبادئه.

48. The speaker then recalled that paragraph 6 of the 14 December 1960 General Assembly resolution 1514 (XV) said that " any attempt aimed at the partial or total disruption of the national unity and the territorial integrity of a country is incompatible with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations " .
48 - وعند ذلك أشار المتكلم إلى أن الفقرة 6 من قرار الجمعية العامة 1514 (د-15) المؤرخ 14 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1960 تضمنت أن " أية محاولة ترمي إلى تمزيق الوحدة الوطنية والسلامة الإقليمية لأي بلد لا تتماشى مع أغراض ومبادئ ميثاق الأمم المتحدة " .

It was precisely to ward off the threat of secession that the Declaration on decolonization provided that any attempt aimed at the partial or total disruption of the national unity and the territorial integrity of a country was incompatible with the purposes and principles of the Charter; and, along with General Assembly resolution 2625 (XXV), emphasized the importance of the freely expressed will of the peoples concerned.
وهذا بالضبط من أجل تجنّب خطر الانفصال الذي نصّ عليه إعلان إنهاء الاستعمار بأن أية محاولة تهدف إلى التمزيق الجزئي أو الكلي للوحدة الوطنية والسلامة الإقليمية لأي بلد لا تتفق مع مقاصد ومبادئ الميثاق؛ بالإضافة إلى قرار الجمعية العامة 2625 (د-25)، وأكّد الإعلان على أهمية حرّية الإرادة التي تعبّر عنها صراحة الشعوب المعنية.
