١٥ - يتسم اتفاق وقف اﻷعمال العدائية الموقع في ١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٥ بين الحكومة البوسنية والصرب البوسنيين باﻷهمية بالنسبة لمفوضية اﻷمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين من حيث ما ورد فيه من اشارة إلى مراقبة حقوق الانسان وكذلك إلى الالتزام بإعادة فتح مطار سراييفو أمام حركة المرور المدنية.

The sanctions imposed by the United Nations Security Council against Serbia/Montenegro and the Bosnian Serbs will be rigorously enforced until the conditions in the relevant UNSC resolutions for their lifting have been met.

In resolution 1074 (1996) of 1 October 1996, the Council decided to terminate sanctions against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Bosnian Serbs.
وقرر المجلس، في قراره 1074 (1996) المؤرخ 1 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 1996، إنهاء الجزاءات المفروضة على جمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية والصرب البوسنيين.

Ministers, noting that no option, military or other, was excluded, agreed to keep up the pressure, in cooperation with the United States, the Russian Federation and the other interested parties, on Serbia and Montenegro and the Bosnian Serbs in order to make the latter accept the Vance-Owen peace plan and stop immediately their attacks and their policy of ethnic cleansing.

In my opinion there is one way out: negotiations today at the highest level: United Nations Secretary-General, highest national authorities and both Bosnian Serb and Bosnian Government.”
وفي رأيي أن المخرج الوحيد هو التفاوض اليوم على أعلى المستويات بين اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة والسلطات الوطنية العليا، والصرب البوسنيين وحكومة البوسنة معا " .
